The A380 is so spacious, well designed and quiet in flight that it’s easily the best experience you can hope for. 13 hours from NYC to Dubai just melts away. Whether you’re in First, business or economy, this is a perfect experience.

I’ve flown on many business class airline products and without a doubt EMIRATES is best. The business class experience doesn’t start on the plane. It starts from the moment that you get dropped off at the airport. When I fly, I leave from New York City John F. Kennedy airport. The Emirates lounge here in JFK is comfortable, attractive to the eye, and has plenty of decent food and drink prior to getting on the plane itself. When you actually get on the A380 business class, you get on from the business class lounge - never having to mix with economy, or premium economy’s crowd. Because the A380 has a top floor you may never even see those people. Once you get into flight, your Maybach Lake seats are super comfortable and the food/drink is satisfying. I personally enjoyed round after round of Moët and Chandon champagne 🥂. When you’re in Dubai at the EMIRATES business class lounge, you have access to just about everything. It’s a beautiful airport and a beautiful lounge. Plenty of alcohol, plenty of coffee/soft drinks and plenty of different types of food. There’s plenty for everyone to enjoy. When I was returning from Maldives, I got to the Emirates business class lounge at 3 o’clock in the morning and quickly signed up to take a shower despite the fact that the lounge was relatively empty at that time. I had a five hour layover to 8 AM. by the middle of my layover, the lounge was suddenly getting crowded after a few flights had brought their passengers in. I had a full and relaxing shower in the shower spa. Then I set back on my computer to do Internet work while drinking and eating the entire time. The round-trip ticket between New York, Dubai and Maldives for me was $4700. It was worth every penny to experience it. It takes exactly 13 hours to fly from New York City to Dubai and I’ve taken the trip so many times that my body is used to it. I did, however, prefer Seychelles. More recently: I tried Japanese airline ANA business class “the room“. NYC to Haneda to Jakarta to Bali. 3 planes, 2 layovers and a total of 32 hours. The plane was comfortable, and the lounge was comfortable, but I was a little disappointed with the Japanese food. EMIRATES A380 may be the best airplane ever made. There’s just something more special about the Emirates flight than the Etihad flight to Abu Dhabi.
