Love this hat! I am a pretty new crocheter. I have tried this twice. Each time my hat comes out small. What could I be doing wrong? Could I be stitching too tightly? uuuugggh!

I absolutely love this hat and the simplicity in making it. I did run into an issue with it being too big for some people. I resolved this issue by threading yarn through the single crochet row, right before you add the ruffles. I put a stopper at the end of the yarn and created a small drawstring. This may help some in the same situation as me.

Finally a pattern where the hat actually fits me and my family and customers. I had bought a pattern off Etsy with the ch.3 starting every round and three hats came out too big so I’m excited over here especially for this last minute order I just got. This will be my go to for my ruffle hats
