@@haaken-hj2gh just to add though, I have continued playing in the dark (Combat Ops) and do quite enjoy it. It definitely needs tweaking, but I don't want night vision, or it being made too light. Just a smidge more visibility and the AIs night sight dialed back a bit.

@@X1BALBA agreed, pc players that use mods for night sight would constantly attack PlayStation players for wasting resources on nvg, besides I like the suspense of the night combat, I just need a bit more to see the enemies, I can't see them at all

Top right corner tells you the fps during gameplay. Usually sits at around the high 50s on the PS5 Pro.

@@Tetosh I blew up the chopper, but died. Sadly, I didn't capture it. PS5 only captures an hour of footage, and I didn't hit record again in time. Been capturing manually for higher resolution.

@ Thank you. Yeah, the game is great. I love trying to complete the missions solo, but I think the real fun will come when I try the Conflict element.

I’ve not played either of those so couldn’t say, sorry. I’m enjoying it. Not my usual kind of game, although I am a fan of DayZ.

More like battlefield but it's very much it's own game. Insert yourself with a squad or go solo taking 10-15 minutes depending how far then shoot em up. Goodluck and fight for the war not the battle.

@@PaNDaSNiP3R yeah, if it’s dark I find it’s best to just restart. Check the in-game time on your watch to know if it’s likely to get dark while you’re playing.

@@scottmorris9271 Oh the darkness is a nightmare. I don’t think you can get night vision, I’ve taken to checking the in-game time and if it’s getting close to night I’ll re-start the game. Also, I think solo progression, as far as missions taken on, does save, but not your character (if you exit, then you’re a new character. Don’t hold me to that though). I’m determined to get through the whole Combat Ops missions solo using just one life, but I think the video, when/if I actually achieve it, will e super long and super boring. Those attack missions, solo, are properly difficult, for me.

@@X1BALBA 😂😂 I just had a look on Google to see if night vision was available and it looks like it's only available through modded servers..... 4.45am now and it's just starting to get light enough to see the silhouette of the tree line on the horizon... I think you're right buddy, still got a while to wait, not all bad though, i have a bottle of brandy to keep me company 👍😂😂😂

@@justingardner690 it’s the only way. Don’t believe the “shoot it with your exploding shots” nonsense. It may be true. Barrel kicking is the true solution though. 😂

@X1BALBA Thanks. No clear cut answer for PS5. I want to buy the game but out at sea with limited Hotspot. Offline play would be helpful till I get back.

@sportstronics just tried offline play. Combat Ops was fine (got a you’re offline type pop up a few times). Game Master mode seems fine (not used that mode, so wasn’t a proper test). Training also seemed fine. Made a video showing it working, uploading as I type. Hope it’s helpful. Have good day.

@@nervousdog1 I'm not 100% certain, but I think some elements can be played offline. I had been playing 'Combat Ops' solo, but also join a friend online to play it as well. I've not had the game long.

Have you been in the woods without a flashlight at night, its very realistic

@@X1BALBA it's through a custom server You will need to set your Primary DNS to 146 190 205 197 and Secondary to 1 1 1 1

@@X1BALBAit’s kinda glitchy. You have to aim at the right spot. Cuz i accidentally destroyed the barrels and i did shoot at the wall with everything, even the explosive shot. I think i aimed a little high and it didn’t register. I went a little mad, trying to get in. I actually managed to get enough height to jump in but there was an invisible wall. So I got mad and shot it with my explosive shot again but a little lower and it worked…..

I don’t know that it’s definitely addressing this issue, but “unplayable section” sounds like it is. Fingers crossed.

I ended up restarting new game plus. Made sure I uploaded my save to the cloud (or whatever it’s called) just before this point. No issue the next time I got there. Was pretty annoying to have got that far to have progression blocked like that though. Hope the reinstall works for you.

Actually reinstalling didn’t work either. Bro you have my respect because I’m not gonna restart the game at this point. Good luck with the game and hope you have a strong finish!

@kannychang6320 That sucks! Yeah, I got the Platinum. Take a break and come back to it in a day or two. Make sure you upload a save just before the lift, just to be safe, though.

Yes, yes it was good. Incredibly good, I feel, and still good today. The controls are a little janky by today’s standard, but definitely worth a play. Have you played Shadow of the Colossus?

@@JakenFren The remake for PS4 is definitely worth playing, if you have a PS4/5. I think it may even be included in PlayStation Plus Extra (I could be wrong). I would love to see an Ico remake.
