Welcome to my channel!
I design, build, and fly compact and robust RC gliders that fit in most backpacks. 🎒
It is part of my desire and effort to share my experiences and knowledge about the hobby of designing, building & flying simple yet well-performing and durable RC gliders, especially flying wings.
I focus on flying wings, as they, in my opinion, offer the best compromise between performance, robustness, transportability, enjoyability, and elegance.

Sehr dünn, glaube 6% Dicke, 0.5-1% Wölbung an der Wurzel & symmetrisch außen - allerdings mit Messer ausgeschnitten & mit Schleifpapier zugeschliffen - am ehesten das PW51 mit weniger Dicke & Wölbung.
da hast du echt dein Meisterstück gebaut. Hut ab!!

Kudos for sharing specifications. Can you please also share airfoil(s) and twist?
You're welcome! I didn't use any twist on this one, but 1 degree would be fine, but would have minimal effects on improving handling and the delay of stall at the wingtips at slow speeds. However it is not necessary and also would have slowing effects at speeds over 40km/h i think. The airfoils are based on the PW51, if i remember correctly - i think i thinned them out to about 7-8% thickness & reduced the camber a little to about 1-1.2%.

Also 1000gr. für einen so kleinen Flieger sind schon heftig ... meine Ellipsen, nach dem gleichen Prinzip, kein Rumpf, keine distanzierte Flosse, haben mit Ballast max. 550gr. deiner fliegt ziemlich gut ... gratuliere
Danke! Das brint ihn auf ca 35-40g/dm2 Flächenbelastung. Die braucht das Modell im Video, damit der Durchzug ausreichend ist. Ohne Ballast hatte er ca. 650-700 Gramm und ging damit auch ganz gut bei leichteren Bedingungen.

There isn't, it's mainly still air at the leeward side. But the difference in wind speeds alows for the flight pattern you see
The leeward stuff is called Dynamic Soaring ("DS-ing").

Can you tell us more about where the video was filmed please?
Hi Robert, it is made from EPS - cutting done with a hot wire, the mid 30cm section has a carbon fiber tube, the rest is covered with usual, thin tape. I made & profiled the winglets & cotrol surfaces from 4mm Balsawood planks. I'm currently filming a DIY tutorial using only a knife and some sandingpaper to shape the wings.
