This is Eric Lewis, he's an amazing jazz pianist who played with Wynton Marsalis in the Lincoln Center jazz band, one of the most prestigious gigs in all of jazz. Why he's putting on this phony Elew character, I can't say but can only assume that he's hoping to become more mainstream, and I guess I really can't blame him for trying to cash in.

Yes I believe it used to be called The Masonic Temple when I was a kid. They started renting the space out in the 1970's and continued to do so. Eventually changing the name to Auditorium. There is another Masonic Temple on 19th Ave. And Sloat St. Across from Sigmond Stern Grove.
