Do you still have the sheet music for this?
That was such a perfect “horse” sound! I’m playing the same part but I’m have trouble on one part on my band director was quite mad at me 💀
nice! also what mouthpiece is that?
I love how the low reeds and tubas made mistakes together lol
Lovely job! You have a very nice brassy tone especially on those tricky high notes! I would recommend trying to support with your air a bit more, which should make tonging and articulation a bit easier too!
Will do!! Thank u ver much for ur input, will definitely keep it in mind!
@@cantusmusic8514 Of course! I had pretty much the same thing happen when I was in concert band hahaha! (And honestly your stamina's better than mine was)
Yo that hair could support china😂 but still nice playing
😂😂 ye, it’s gets really thick sometimes
You have a good feel for the rhythm.
Thank you!
our tubas are barely audible (I can't hear them) but im closer to the right and 2nd row (firstchair saxophone) and the tubas are farthest to the left and last row, but I can hear our trumpets
My band program only has 2 tubas, so we can barely hear them half the time. But depending on the song, they can be heard really well
I'm amused by music where there is a long rest and then the playing of just one note. It makes sense, of course, for the arrangement, but it still looks amusing when focusing on one instrument. Nobody demonstrated this better than the comedian Pete Barbutti in one of his most popular skits "4th Trumpet". Here it is on UA-cam on the Johnny Carson show: ua-cam.com/video/FnsEZ9q2hOc/v-deo.html
Lol, now that you mention it, that is actually quite amusing. Thanks for the video recommendation I’ll make sure to take a look! 😁
For my band I have the 3rd cornet part XD
Nice!
Work on tuning! Also try and support your breath more. Keep a steady pace. But overall great! Nice job
Will do! Thank you for the constructive criticism!! Really appreciate it 🙌
It sounds pretty good other then there is definitely a lot of out of tune instruments
😅 ye
also what grade r u in?
I’m a senior
@@cantusmusic8514 same but I play Clarinet!
sounds sick but bro who got u playing with the metronome lol
Lol, my band teacher. Woodwinds didn’t exactly have their part down at the time
@@cantusmusic8514 woodwinds sounded fine
@@HelloooThere oh yeah no, they sound pretty good for the most part, but at 1:28 is where they mess up a little. Pretty much just that one specific part
Sound really good just support your air more and you’d be perfect. Love the piece a lot keep up the good work
Thank you!! Really appreciate the input, will make sure to keep that in mind from now on!
