After two Days of straight rain I gathered some friends to have a backyard mud bog. We had a few hick-ups but at the end of the day everyone was ok and had a blast.
Coolster500 - Snowmobile Powered Go Kart Part 3
Переглядів 3,8 тис.4 роки тому
In this video I finish up construction of the rear end of the buggy. This includes mounting jack shafts, cluctches and chains. I also mount the rest of the parts including: fuel tank, oil injection reservoir, radiator and overflow tank. I ended up with a set of Fox shocks that fit the bill for the rear end too. After mounting the new shocks and rear brake caliper, I review plans for Part 4.
Summer 2020 Ride w/ 3 Wheelers, Dirt Bikes, Mini Bikes & Go Karts.
Переглядів 1 тис.4 роки тому
In this video we ride around the new "mini bike track" I've been building then hit the trails. We rode every type of ground from dirt track to pavement, to mud and sand. Eventually I break out the 3 wheelers and do a speed run with the 250sx. Cousin Shaun breaks a few belts on his Baja Mini Bike while I almost kill myself dusting off the 250 Ninja Buggy on the new mini bike track. At some point...
Coolster 500 - Snowmobile Powered Go Kart Part 2

In this video I chop off parts of the old roll cage to make way for the new rear end. I start using my tube bender only to burn through all my tube and discover my metal supplier closed for the corona virus. I found plenty to do in the meantime. I nearly buttoned up the rear roll cage, mounted the Polaris engine and fabricated the new swing arm.
Coolster500 - Snowmobile Powered Go Kart Part 1
Переглядів 5 тис.4 роки тому
In this video I review my plans for project Coolster500. John and Jay help me tear apart my donor 1997 Polaris Indy 500 snowmobile. Its a liquid cooled 2 stroke with around 75 horsepower. After test fitting the engine, the exhaust gets a modification and later I reveal a new toy.
Shaun's Snowmobile Powered Go Kart - Walkaround & Quick Ride

In this video we take a trip to Cousin Shaun's to check out his recently acquired, heavily modified Tomberlin Crossfire buggy with 2 stroke engine. It has a 93' Polaris 650 Triple EFI which puts out right around 100HP. it needs a little work to be at 100%. The CVT belt was slipping the entire time.
Racing Off Road Go Karts in the Snow 2020

I start this video out plowing and grading the snow track with my John Deere 3320 tractor. After the track was completed, Kyle, Chris, John, and Jay showed up for racing. We raced four go-karts side by side. The Carter Talon 150cc, Black Kandi 150cc, American Sportworks Carbide 420cc, and 250cc Ninja Buggy. It was a day to remember.

Barrels of Fun w/ Off-road Go-Karts & 55 gal Plastic Drums

In this video we have some fun coming up with new ways to use 55 gallon barrels. Like our buggy bowling video, this vid shows us crashing our go karts into stacks of drums. Only this time we get more speed using my driveway. We have also strapped barrels to the front for added impact protection. In an attempt to cool off, we ratchet strap a barrel to each of our buggy's roofs, fill them half fu...

Is there a way to keep them running in the winter, we have no garage. And the throttle gable gets stuck. Cant start maybe cause it needs thinner oil. Idk what else. Any tips would help. We use it for towing the kids sled.

    • @nate32185
      @nate32185 Рік тому

I keep my go karts outside under a tent all winter. I usually use 5w30 in winter and 10w30 in the summer. The throttle cable issue is common. Usually water makes it’s way in the cable and freezes and or corrodes the cable. Replace your throttle cable with a new one. They are all over eBay for 10-15$. Also get yourself a trickle charger to keep your battery fully charged during the cold months. A can of starting spay goes a long way to. Give the air filter a little spritz before initial startup. Good luck and have fun!
