Since leaving the military in 2011, I have found being on my own was the best feeling. I started mountain biking when I moved to Utah in 2017 and dove in head first. Now my family and I have moved back to Minnesota where I continue to ride singe-track here. I ride solo and this channel show cases my love for mountain biking and shows the trails I love to ride and trails I explore for the first time. Not much talking, just the sounds of my rear hub and the tires on the dirt. Just riding.

Bridges/Whoops/Rabbit Ears | Alafia River State Park | Lithia Florida
These three trails (Bridges runs directly into Whoops so kind of one trail?) were great, sort of techy trails. By this moment in my ride, my legs were not doing the best so I was not going as fast as I would have if I rode these at the beginning. I hope to get back here again when my legs are stronger. Overall, This place was pretty sick. Good times!

Next time I ride this, I will be able to go a little faster (hopefully...). I pre-rode this before this run and I hope the next time I ride it, I can free-ride! Not the first time I've ridden this trail and probably won't be the last, even with so much up-hill traffic. It's gotten busier, just like the other trail to get to the top (Mueller Park). Rollercoaster is the main trail to get to the three black diamonds. Rollercoaster is only 2 miles long and very littler climbing involved. Stardust is a quick Black Diamond at only .44 miles (88 VF of climbing). Punchy climbs and descent downhills with a few tight corners and jumps. It wasn't bad but wasn't great. Alafia River State Park - Part 1 is the first 5 black diamond trails on the South side of the main parking lot. This was my first time on this trail. It has 2.5-miles (696 VF of drop) of descent for this trail. Since riding bikes in the Midwest, a 2.5-mile descent made the legs tired but it was worth it! Sorry for the long video. It's only a 9.6-mile system (roughly, due too riding around the place a little as well) and an elevation gain of only 49 VF (from what Strava shows). Awesome footage! Years ago I brought a mountain bike to Markham and set out on the beginner trail. After about 60 seconds into the ride , I decided to walk back and get in my car. I arrived home with bloody legs and face from falling twice and losing my car keys in tall grass. Needless to say it was last venture into this type of stuff. We still laugh every time we think about it. You have my utmost respect. Finally I can share footage of what I experienced. Thanks! :)

Been a few years since I rode lake Rebecca. Pretty impressive how many B lines they've added. Might have to make an effort to get out there this summer. Beautiful in the fall but looks like I wouldn't be able to find any of them 😅
They have definitely added a lot more last summer. I hope they continue this year. I know I need to make it to a trail work night a few times also.

Gonna be doing intermediate enduro this year and this was exactly the video i needed, to see what to expect. Ive done an XC race on spirit mtn but i havent done any downhill on it yet.

Love this trail. Don't get to it as much was we'd like. Quiet Waters is great too if you haven't been. JD is also a favorite, if you don't mind ZERO shade.
For the area, it was pretty fun! I have family that live about 10 mins from there. I have heard about Quiet Waters. I'll be down there at the end of March. I may have to check it out!

Just rode this park 12/28/23 and this trail is absolutely amazing!! So much fun very roller coaster like with great climbs as well! Great video glad to hear you breathing like I was! All videos just don’t quite capture the intensity!
It was definitely a fun trail and a great change of pace from what I’m used to riding in Central Minnesota! That’s the tough part with GoPro’s. It’s hard to capture the true intensity of a trail sometime! Yeah I was breathing pretty hard haha it was a hot day! Thanks for watching, dude!

Bit of a switch, riding a bunch of Florida trails, then riding up above PC. I haven't ridden this trail. Only rode the PC area a couple times this summer.
Yeah, the Florida trail was something I rode last year. I just hadn't had the time to finish the video. But this one is a pretty fun little flow trail. I did ride this about 3 weeks ago!
Looks like an area where you can get a good workout.
And lose a lot of calories with the heat and humidity haha for being 10 (ish) mins away, it wasn't to bad.

Good job man. I was not impressed with seeing the climbing on stage one and I did not even do this race. I have no idea how you manage with that course marking too. You did a great job to pull it off. Question. Were any trees hurt in the filming of this video ;)
Thanks, dude! Yeah, that climb was brutal but hey, that’s enduro racing haha. Markings weren’t too bad. I walked/rode the day before. And lucky, no trees were harmed!

That is a really fun looking area! Really practice bike handling. Someone put in the build time to make all the wood features.

What camera do you use here?
It’s the GoPro Hero 9 with Max Lens under the visor. Decided it still works pretty. I’ll maybe look into upgrading in the next year or two!

Interesting trails. Cool they pack in features since there isn't much elevation to work with. Work with what you got. Kind of reminds me of trails in eastern Texas.
The trails in Florida are definitely unique! And different views I typically don't get to see in the Midwest! They also did very well in using the terrain given. They have some cool systems to ride if you ever get down there!

I have a Bell Super DH with the removable chin bar. I have the GoPro mounted under the visor with the Max Lens. I have been liking the view as well!

That's the plan! We are hoping to add a jump line in there and maybe some more drops. It'll be short but hopefully it should be able to help others progress!

Haha when he gets older, I plan on bringing him out there! Yeah these are about a half a mile away? It was fun building these but really time consuming! Not sure how much we will add to this location since the site is pretty small but we'll see. The other location, we should be adding jump lines and drops as some point.
