Buckle Up Garage Est. 2024
United States
Приєднався 4 гру 2024
Follow along as a typical car loving knucklehead works on his own hot rods and daily drivers, goes on road trips and junkyard crawls. Making memories, documenting progress, and possibly establishing an alibi.....
Old Car City USA January, 10 2024 Part Two
Part 2 of my recent trip thru Old Car City USA in White Georgia. Checking out a mix of muscle cars, classics, and everyday use vehicles from years ago. Some are beyond help, some may be saveable. But none are for sale, frozen in time for people to come and see, frozen in time.

Mecum Auction Kissimme 2025
Переглядів 569 годин тому
Two old friends wandering around the Mecum auction grounds, looking at cars and having a good time. A near endless amount of street cars, classics, race cars, exotics, and oddballs. Some great, some not so much. But a helluva way to spend the day!

Walking through Old Car City USA, looking at a handful of cars and trucks. Some muscle cars, some classics, some general use vehicles. But none are for sale, frozen in time for anyone to come and see.
Cold start? Not so much.......

My daily driver Ford Focus is dead at the key. Battery? Most likely. But let's see how to do a few checks and find out. Then, what does it take to change the battery?

Man, that is one sweet sounding pony.
@allanpolk2681 yeah, i was lucky to be in the right place, right time. When the driver got out he said "I can't believe I got to drive this!"
@@BuckleUpGarageEst2024 Nooo doubt. I bet the dude was grinning from ear to ear too. That car just sounds VERY angry. 😡
@allanpolk2681 now picture Ken Miles thrashing everything out of it at 6000+ rpm!
@@BuckleUpGarageEst2024 I believe that a MOPED in the hands of Ken Miles would be a challenge to other drivers to beat him. 😂
That New Yorker is pretty nice!
Sweet vid
Thanks!
Driving Fat Bastard on that 2600 mile roadtrip was awesome, Dean letting me take him back in the yard for some pics was great too!
Thanks 👍🇺🇸
You bet
Good luck with everything! Subscribed!!
@andrew.a.8189 thanks!
I'm crying inside now. 😪
looks like my garage. I'm interested to see what you can build.
@@bartg8751 me too, lol. I'm hoping this keeps my motivation going.
👍Oh yeah! Sweet rides. I’ve been at MECUM a couple times in INDY. Crazy money being spent. When I say crazy I mean crazy because I’ve seen mediocre 78 Fords MAYBE worth $10k (if that) go for $18k to $25k. Hype & booze helped out I guess. Good times.
@majorpayne5289 i go to both pretty regularly, just as a spectator. I agree, booze does help. But if you go on week days there are some deals, but you have to know what to look for.
Gotta support a new car channel from home! Good luck 🍀
Thanks for the sub!
Liked and subscribed 👍🇺🇸
@@RustyRobinson-g5n thanks!
I know of a small handful of imperials
@@kdsboosted4954 where abouts?
@BuckleUpGarage2024 Washington and the imperial's I know of are 61 or 62's
I can use one of the wheels, and the rotor from the yellow 68 up there.
👍I’m 58 & as a kid in KY I loved walking around the junk yards w/ my dad seeing the old cars and trucks everywhere. Back then they were full of 1950s-1960s.
Stay tuned! I'll be there again with more content.

It was the most wing cars I'd ever seen at one time!
The White one
Big Willy's Daytona for me. I wish they would have left it unrestored, but that's just me.
Good luck with your brand new channel

My heart ached for these cars😢😢😢
The owner needs to have his butt kicked , he won't sell anything, old cars just WASTED 👎
i am dying for a 1968 mustang😢😢😢
I always live with the dream of old mustangs, but it is not a dream that will come true😢😢😢

Mustang😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
sad its in there rotting away
@williamlovely450 i agree. But nothing there is for sale. The owner considers it a walk thru museum now. It just enforces the need to buy and save stuff in yards like this that DO still sell before the EPA and local politics force owners out and start crushing. It's happened to many of them.
Bet my old '78 Granada is in the same shape. 😂
You need a spider stick.
Was business as usual there for decades. Just an old school salvage yard.
Why do people do this i understand the whole thing on using cars too help with the flow over river water like they do in Illinois but this is just no point.
OCC was a functioning salvage yard for decades. Sometime in the 80's the family decided to turn it into a museum, of sorts, to preserve it. Honestly, alot of yards like it end up being pressured into shutting down. They scramble for awhile to sell off whatever they can and end up being forced to crush what's left. Dean has saved them in a way. Lesson to learn is, find yards like this that ARE selling and buy up what you can now!
Wonder how/why those cars ended up there. Crazy.
