Hi Thank you for the post. What is a voltage regulator L7815CV do? My amplifier is powering up but no sound. There are two voltage regulators both are L7815CV, I think one of them is faulty.

79 series always accept -ve input....we cant feed +ve voltage, as you are doing....

you are using meter probe with reverse direction...

This is not a good video yiu can't put negative on pin 1 and positive on pin 2 it's suppose to be the other way around.

Yes, its great to see ... because your input is positive voltage, its a negative voltage regulator. When you have a negative rail to regulate then the output goes to the filter side and the input goes to the regulated side ... according to some diagrams. Others put the negative voltage to the input ... thinking thats correct. Since they are "inputing" negatve current and outputing negative current. So seeing you put the postive to the input makes me think the former is correct.
