if you want a paycheck and not have to work then be a security officer. Been an officer 6 years now. 42-44 k a year being on break the entire shift. Same with police. i busted my butt 13 years cooking,7 years in a factory,2 years in a tire store, and 3 years in warehouse and got me nothing but stress,resentment,drama,physical pain,lack of sleep. Hate all you want but after all that I'm staying in security

That's what you're hired for that's the problem I noticed with this younger generation in their early twenties they're all entitled and they believe in their heads that if you use them for a certain skill that they learned that they should be paid this ungodly number I had a couple 22 and 23 year olds yes I could do it actually faster and better than them but I let them do it and then they came back to me after 1 week and were demanding that they get paid close to 1:15 an hour and the other one is 5055 an hour where these guys were already making 27.00 an hour and the other one is making 32 and I explained to them their age and their experience they're making more money with me than some people have worked with companies for over 10 years intercourse they throw Hissy Fits they both quit very nasty Lee and I had Parents calling me and complaining and arguing with me and long story short after a couple of months went by they tried coming back and begging for their jobs they did not get rehired so I hope they learned a valuable lesson in today's world

At this point, I don’t blame the younger generation.

If you asking someone to do managerial duties, but don't want to pay them manager salary, they have a right to tell you that. There are a lot of companies that are trying to load extra work onto employees to cut costs. Young people aren't playing that game. Taking on extra responsibility used to be a good way to advance your career, but now employers will treat you as if you are expendable no matter how hard you work.
