#BREAKING_NEWS : Trains to Kashmir: Heated coaches and airport-like security check for five trains planned between Delhi-Kashmir, A senior official linked with the project said that the manufacturing of the five rakes have been completed and that the trains are ready for operation. The Indian Railways is ready with five trains linking Delhi and Kashmir. Equipped with heating facilities within the coaches, these AC sleeper trains will pass through snow covered regions, The Indian Express reported. Due to heightened security concerns in Jammu and Kashmir, additional security checks will be implemented for these services. A senior official linked with the project said that the manufacturing of the five rakes have been completed and that the trains are ready for operation. “It may be launched in the first month of the next year, not all five at the same time. It will have 22-coaches each. As of now, there is no plan to run Vande Bharat Sleeper train from Delhi. However, an eight coach Vande Bharat train, with chair car seating, will run on Katra to Baramulla stretch (around 250 km) of Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link Project (USBRL),” they added. #Kashmir

USBRL ke ab 2 VB rakes ho gaye hain. 1st was Rake No.-49 jo lagbhag 10 months se Shakurbasti Depot mein pada hua hai; and now this new one the Rake No.-80. Both are 8-coach rakes. News authentic hai kyoki ICF abhi only 20 coach ke VB rakes bana rahi hai, only USBRL ke liye hi 8 coach ki rake banayi hai abhi.

this 8 car will be from Katra to Srinagar which is less than 800 km

I think they should start a recliner variant of these vande bharats for long distance then railways will also be able to place their pricing above rajadani and comfort would also be more .
