Which is the constant power on wire on the 2024 tacoma above the mirror?
I need pls
curious to know how this is wired in? I'm assuming to a fuse box?

@@dongartechnologies very interested in this, i have one of your 10 pin powering my viofo a229 at the moment, but missing out on the parking features
would you use the timed mode on a hybrid taco? Or does that pull from the big battery?
There's no right answer but you'll have no issues using either timed or continuous mode! The cabin electronics where our adapter plugs into is powered off the 12V gas engine battery under the hood and not by huge 288V hybrid system battery. The hybrid system recharges the 12V battery and also starts the gas engine so actually you need to worry even less!

just used this to install a Viofo A229 in my 2024 Tacoma Off-road and it worked great. Way better solution than having to tap into a fuse.
Question, does it still power the dashcam for parking mode?
Just received mine today and you guys really cheapened out on the type of wires used with hardly any flexibility and not using any black shrink tubing to help hide and protect the wires themselves. Hope it works better than it looks.

@@JulietHotelFoxtrot had to revise the electrical design a few times because it turns out a lot of Chinese dashcam brands don’t use a properly implemented USB-C port. Production will finish closer to mid October. I’ll post another vid this week showing the updated design.

Worked great on my 2024 Tacoma.
Bought this, usb feed wire is too short to accommodate large mirror cover. Install video starts with red/black two wire feed and gets switched to yellow/red/black three wire feed. How much more expensive would it be to make feed wire two inches longer?
The wire harness which has the extra yellow wire is a prototype to allow parking mode with our new usb module (coming soon). In this video its the same length as the red/black harness. The current product was designed on older Toyota's before the cover got so large but we're making the new parking mode adapters longer to allow more options for mounting.
@@JD-bd5rdit’s not rocket science. They can only be plugged in 1 way. Male connectors go into the female connectors. This took 30 seconds to complete
