2015 GMC Sierra Radio Volume Problem
Thank you sir for the video
Clean your air filter bro
Saved me a ton of money brotha Thx ✊ God Bless in Jesus name
$500+ dollars at ours is what it would’ve cost
Great video. Helped me diagnose my solenoid.
Great guide man. Thanks for making this video!
You don't have to take the seat or the gas tank off, I didn't even jack it up. You unplug the clutch wire, one mounting bracket, put your new belt on the pulleys, and replace the tension spring. (I didn't have to use a spring puller either; I guess because I'm a man.) Took me about 20 minutes, works perfectly.
Couldn't tell jack from this video the camera was all over the place.
I just had to replace the park brake safety switch on mine. Had an intermittent problem with it wanting to shut off when parked like going to lock up a stick. Found it full of dust. I think the later ones had a cover on it to help. This would also affect the starting, I believe.
I pull the spring with a ratchet strap to put it on the spindle it makes it so much easier 😊
Very helpful! I’ll be coming back here I can tell.
We have this issue with a full charge battery and figured out it only happens when the heat is turned up above 73 when starting the truck
The belt size is a “1/2x65” mine just broke today and no one around me had a belt besides tractor supply. It was only 20 bucks which was nice. Definitely need a spring puller for leverage. This video helped a ton when it came to how the belts go and what needs to come off first.
Good, help, thanks 😮
Way too much movement of camera and showing whole lawnmower..drive belt footage only please.
Thank you. Appreciate ya
Jumping the Solenoid does not mean solenoid is bad you just took out or bypass the solenoid itself. You could have a bad ground, no power going to the solenoid.
Thanks for putting this video together. Just did my first drive belt. I used a zip tie to secure the belt routed onto the left pulley while fiddling with getting it routed on the right. Otherwise, it kept falling out of the pulley. I then cut the zip tie after the belt guide was bolted back in place on the tension pulley (had to oil that stubborn bolt before it would come off). I used a trim clip pry tool to extend the tensioner spring back into place. After the belt change, only my right wheel would function so I must have had air in the left system. Changed the hydro gear oil and filters and bled the air out and back in business!
Do you know what size belt is needed? Just tried installing, and the Kubota dealer gave us one that was way too long (5/8x150) Thanks for the helpful video!!
Volume not working at all for radio but works fine for CD player. Help
I had the same issue. Your video was very informative but I think showing the installation process would be far more helpful. In particular the re installation of the spring was a challenge. With the advice of my neighbor, he suggested it would be an easier process if we drop the mower deck and work from the top. Thanks for your ideas.
NAPA has the best parts period when your looking for electric parts
Ese diagrama GRACIAS
My Kabota 42 inch went to heat up it keep going circle
You can leave belt off at pto pulley then put spring on tension pulley then pull on tensioner pulley and put belt on pto pulley then let go on spring
My problem, on the tension pulley there is a belt guard that is on so tight that you will need an impact wrench to break it loose. Never could get the belt past the guard. Now have got to figure out how to get it loaded up and take it to the shop, just to break a bolt loose. Crazy.
I had to oil that bolt to break it free. Frustrating!
@@EZmpcdid you have to use an impact drill or were you able to loosen it once you oiled it?
@@carolcardona9877After using some PB Blaster and letting it soak for a few hours, I was able to get it to come off without an impact wrench. Since then, I have acquired said wrench on account of a stubborn mag rod for my water heater. Now I’ll be able to tackle more DIY Kubota maintenance!
I have the same problem with my 2023 gmc sierra🫤
Did u find a solution?
it's a grounding problem, G218 for BCM Grounding Left side in Dash panel next to dash speaker, there is another ground spot for the Intelink Interface at G211 Passenger Side dash next to dash speaker, another ground problem place is G325 Body Harness under left side of the front passenger seat, another one is a B+ battery cable at the starter solenoid shorting out. There is a bulletin out there for Chevy and GM (Bulletin No.: PIT5405B). I hope this helps, try this before changing out a battery, they are not cheap.
Thanks mate loved it, not looking forward to tackling that tension spring though.
It’s not as bad as the blade deck tension spring.
How do you take out gas t ank
Hi Tyler your video is great and it helped me a lot. However, after buying a replacement sensor for my parking brake and trying to install it I found I could not remove the old one. Can you please make a video on how to get at and remove that sensor? The others are easier for some reason. Or maybe make a video about replacing all the sensors. I could easily replace the start motor solenoid, so I know that is not the problem. Thank you very much.
I replaced the parking brake safety switch recently. It was a major pain. Take the tire off and pry it out with some flathead screwdrivers.
I've had this problem for over 3 years only when jts cold and all I've done is push the radio button to change the AM FM Sat radio over and over I found it helps get it working faster. But if its cuz of a battery problem right on thx its bin passing me off for a while and the shop is useless like you said couldn't find anything wrong with my truck.
Ijust put a new and my radio still dont work
Just went through this with my 2015 Silverado. Means battery is about to die. Mine went about month after started happening. If you lose audio in truck and it comes back after driving for a while and restarting truck. Better start shopping for a battery. Lucky for me my truck battery died at Costco parking lot :)
Have u experienced the screen not working???
Could be the first sign that your truck is getting Covid. 14, 15, and up are very susceptible to this illness. Please wear your mask while driving around in these models. All kidding aside, thank you for the tip.
Yes I finally changed the battery and fixed the issue. I talked to a few GM certified mechanics and an engineer from GM and it’s a safety catch to keep your battery from draining to quickly. Very weird.
Maybe this video will help... ua-cam.com/video/3TiuGs8W1eg/v-deo.html
Mine does the same. Did you ever find an actual fix? Seems when it happens that the turn signal flasher does not make the clicking sound as well. Not sure why.
Just got a Jasper rebuilt 5.3 at 134,000 miles and a new transmission at 118,000 miles. New alternator, starter, and computer. Now the radio volume won't work even though the display is working. Who wants to buy this money pit?
Did you find problem.?@@edbak8452
