Good question. There is no easy answer, so it just depends. If credits are not important and you’re making a good living as a ghostwriter then it doesn’t make sense to have an IMDb Pro Account. But, I’ve seen some ghostwriters credited on IMDb as something else like programmers, additional orchestrations, and such. It’s happened to me too. But it’s still beneficial to join IMDb Pro if you’d like to reach out to filmmakers as a composer and not as a ghostwriter. But it all depends on what your goals are.

We got our music a few days ago, and so far it sounds great. I will mention that to our Teacher. This is one of the more challenging pieces for our 7th grade but so far it’s sounding pretty ok.

Hi Charles! Good seeing ya here! In my experience, I've played on sessions where the time sigs on parts were a bit larger than they would be on concert works, which IMO, helps when sightreading and when playing mixed meter stuff. They don't have to HUGE like on a score, but slightly larger than normal on a part might help. JKMS employs this method and it's what I've observed when I would sit in on sessions at Warner Bros and Fox. When I first started orchestrating and notating my scores, I would use normal sized time sigs, but ever since seeing the larger ones on sessions, I've adopted that as my preferred method. But, feel free to use whatever works for you! Yes, I missed a few things, but mutes, string crossings, more special FX like Bartok pizz, and other similar topics might be good idea for a Part 2 of this video series. Well, I offer some suggestions in the video like experiment with new harmonies, or stagger the entrances by adding rests, use dynamics, and perhaps add some counterpoint to have something to listen and react to while holding these long notes. Just keep things interesting.

I did put background music into this video that had tinkly things like glocks and stuff, so it could be that. Great, now I want some ice cream.
