The Raiders used to be the resident band at the Pelican in Chatsworth, what beautiful memories when entertainment and social life was very limited due to apartheid but this did the Indian community proud. A household name that I still remember and enjoy listening. I am now 73 years old and I grew up with their music.

I'm 74 now and I recall my mum, (would have been 100 this year on 22nd Nov 2022), when she was about my age, used to have her little hop moves, and to this day one of my twins sisters (they are now 65), still kept up the ritual of saying " EPs, EPs, EPs, as she dances, lifting her body from left to right to this tune💞💞

I would love to have been an adult around these times when our parents and grandparents used to go out partying or go to movies . Was such distinguished and elegant family events where people would dress up and enjoy the evening . Not drug fueled skank fests like what we have now days.
Love this ❤❤❤🎉
