Super cool show.. always rad seeing shows from far away .. great video!
Thanks buddy
that was a really enjoyable show and thank you for the great pictures! it will be cool to see your car at the show next year!
Nice how I ended with your car eh? lol.
@@ScottJohnston-o7q I wish I could get my car there next year. I highly doubt it. I’m planning 3-5 year resto on her. The suspension and motor are expensive.
happy 18th bro, love the vids and one day ill be able to take the Z out and chill with ya
@@Kevin-lw1yu it’s a date lol
this is amazing i am fighting with keeping original color or black in mine
@@TygaMediaImages I always wanted to build it my way in my vision. If I had numbers matching r/t se or something rare I’d keep it all original. She’s a base model so I’m good with the changes.
Rear bumper looks great! I felt the “to put this in, I need that” …seems like every time I turn around I need another small part. Keep on rocking it!
Thanks buddy
Coming along nicely! When you put those door and trunk bumpers in, use a heat gun to make them pliable to push them in.
@@acardiac5983they’re in now. Thats a good idea though thanks. Next time. This time I used soapy water and spit
Put some light in their so we can see what you are ddoing
Love the color on her. What did you use to paint the top of the dash?
I used a generic mat black on everything I painted black.
I bought the same flag. We Fly it on our General Lee Golf Cart. :)
@@jimmcadams nice. I love it
Nice! Love the flag. My kids are urging me to put the 01 on the doors of my charger .. it’s tempting
That’s why I put the 09. Not a gl but my number and a tribute of sorts to the general
She is coming along nicely!
Thank you
Get your passport
@@Darryl-69SE tried. Need too much info I don’t know. Long story.
Great video. I was struggling because all I had was the plastic clips on my door glass. Where did you purchase the quarter window seals? Thanks
@@wayneburton3744 not sure. Check the description. I usually tag where I buy stuff from. If it’s something I didn’t list let me know
It's all there with part #'s. All from Dante's. Thanks again.
@@wayneburton3744 glad I could help
@@wayneburton3744 good luck!!
@@provibegarage thanks, I've been driving it for 2 summers with no door glass. 🤦
There’s always new parts 😂 I feel like every time I turn around I’m missing a gasket or hardware or some special clip.
How did you remove the speedometer needle??
@@dylansoy5180 lift over the stop and twist it counter clockwise to loosen it and pull. Gently. It comes off.
@@provibegarage I’m currently trying to put a sticker on it myself. How do you get it past the stop? (Nipple on the back)
@@provibegarage lift it over the stop once?
@@dylansoy5180 yes. Pull as you lift. It’ll come off quick. Just be gentle. The twist just breaks it free and you need the counterclockwise direction as it normally rotates clockwise. It is pressed on so the twist against the stop will break it free to pull it off. Google it or UA-cam it. That’s how I learnt
@@dylansoy5180 hope that helps
Great job so far! Are you going with a QA1 k member?
@@acardiac5983 thanks. I’m going qa1 full front and rear coil over kits. K member and all
You are doing an amazing job and so happy you found your dream car and was able to fulfill that dream. Good for you and will keep watching until all done my friend.
Thank you Rita!!!!
Look 👁👌🤙🤘💪🤛👊🤜🤝👌👍🇺🇲🏁
am still here, I will stick with your channel as long as you have it. I love to see the progress you have made and your own personal touches on the interior. I might have said it before, but the color you picked was awesome. I am a subscriber to Chis Birdsong as well, and I really like the knowledge he has in Chargers. I keep watching all your videos and always look forward to the next.
Awesome. I follow birdsong too. He knows a lot. I’m just learning.
Great job! Owning a Charger was also my dream. Came true about 3 years ago. Enjoy the car. They are AMAZING!!!
Thank. I love this car!!!!!!
I'm building a 69 Super Bee.. almost exact same color.. It's so cool to watch you go through these steps/processes. Thank you for all the videos. I've learned some things!
That’s awesome. Thank you!! Love to see yours.
The car is amazing btw! All done in your garage… sweet!
@@johnnyace1954 thank you. And yes so far everything has been done by me in the garage
Great video man! Beautiful story. I just stumbled upon this! I gotta start from the first video! I’m in NY just curious what part of NY you got her? I always loved the. 69 Charger grew up on the Dukes Of Hazzard too! I’m so happy for you! I can’t afford a charger in any condition lol. Instead I have my other dream Car a 65Buick Wildcat….
@@johnnyace1954 thank you! It came from about a half hour from Whiteface.
Really great story. Car looks to be coming along really well. You ever been to Detroit? Your closer then I thought. When that car is done you should come to the annual Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan (August)
I’m in Ontario. No passport but maybe one day I’ll travel with her.
what about me Jamie? we talk all the time? lol
@@Kevin-lw1yu yes Kevin. But you’re my neighbour. I’m stuck with you lol.
@@provibegarage lol, love the vids dude, keep it up
What’s your plan for the drivetrain?
Eventually a 6.4 392 hemi.
Im also doing a 69 charger R/T Unfortunately, i didn't take it apart! These videos are helping!
Good luck. I didn’t take this apart either. I got a shell and a trunk full of parts. I’m figuring it all out as I go too. So much fun and learning a lot as I go
What's the car on ur shelf behind you
The red one? 69 charger I 3D printed. Never finished it.
What engine are you going to buy in your car my charger is going to have the hellaphant
I’m planning on a 6.4 392 Hemi crate motor.
@@provibegarage cool man
Another great video! The grill is perfect.. everything is lined up so good. Excellent work. Thanks for the props. Glad I could help out.
Thanks again!
They look great! Grill is perfect.. good work
New video coming soon. I mentioned you in it
Now we’re talking. So at it took was adjusting? And a good battery
Adjusting and new headlight doors. I filmed it all. Video coming soon. Need to edit it etc. but much better now.
Car is looking amazing! Great work.. my driver headlight door does that too.. it looks like yours is broken on the top. There is a plastic tab that is suppose to stop it. You can weld a plastic tab back on.. I have to do this as well. I can send you pictures if you need. I’m working on my grill now.
Thanks. Yes send me pics that will help thanks.
when i open the link theres pics and description but no link to purchase. Great vids man. Theyre lots of help for my build here in NS!
Yeah the pictures show what he has. You’d need to call or email him. Thats what I did. I’ll be in NS next month. Where about?
@@provibegarage ahh I gotcha. Looks like a good set up and cheaper than classic industries. im in pictou county. let me know if youre in the area. love the Liono and heman swords in the back ground btw, still have all my old toys lol
@@glenjamin62 nice. I’ll be in eastern passage. Want to get back to cb for a couple days too if I can.
@@glenjamin62 and yes. Half the price of classic’s. And easy to put in. I’m happy with it. But this morning I broke a headlight door where I said it was breaking already. Just ordered both sides to replace them
Very cool, love this stuff
Nice. What I like about this upgrade is that you can open or close them when you want. Vacuum style you need that vacuum to so it, so engine has to be running, that vacuum canister can only hold so much.
And this was with an almost dead deep cycle skidoo battery. A proper car battery under power will be even better !!
I got a full battery down the street if you need lol
Very good how to. Not sure about that 6.4 hemi not having enough vacuum. Mine has enough to open and close for my 69 charger swap. And also power brakes. But electric are a better upgrade.
Thanks for that info. I had heard there wasn’t enough vacuum good to know there isn’t an issue. But again I’m missing more more parts than I have to make it work with a vacuum so I’m gonna upgrade this and I’m about to post a short video. I just tried it with my skidoo battery, they work!!!!
@@provibegarage awesome, look forward to it.
Is it possible to install with front windshield in? I have rear glass out.
I really don’t know. It ticks around the tack strip. It may be possible. But it’ll be a lot easier with windows out.
I met John Schneider years back. Super nice guy.
Is the fuel tube gonna clear that box
Yes. I actually built the box with a groove tube in the face to clear it
Love the black back end
Thanks. Me too
I think that is such an amazing color! What engine will your charger have?
I’m hoping for a 392 6.4L Hemi crate motor
Excelente color para esa máquina!!!!
Thank you. I love it!!!!
Excelente quedó esa regilla !!!!
Hola, muchas gracias
I didn't see it in either parts 1 or 2, did you add the sail panel boards at the rear of the headliner? If yes, how did you attach the headliner to them? Is the headliner glued down along the edge of the package tray? I am doing a Dart with a similar design and I have not been able to find any videos that address how to deal with the sail panels. Thanks.
I did not add the sale panel boards in the back sides. I just glued the headliner itself to the package tray, little lip on the sides, as well as the pinch welds on the back window and side q windows
@@provibegarage Got it, thanks!
Your J Clips have tonbe on the back side
I’ll look into that thanks. They worked this way.
That grille was worth every sec you spent on it. Turned out perfect.
Thank you. It’s a subtle change. A bit darker but looks a thousand times better to me
Step by step
Yep. One step at a time. Waiting on front end suspension to get in stock. That’s my next step
Very good content as usual. Can’t wait to see the motor drop!
Thanks. And me too. But I’m working on a budget. Motor will be in a year or two.
A pleasure as always
