Out and About at Druridge Bay - A History and Wildlife Walk - Northumberland
Let's take a walk along the beautiful stretch of coastline between Druridge Bay and Hauxley.
A fantastic day discovering the wildlife and history of this gorgeous part of Northumberland. Armed with my Lumix S5II and Sigma 150-600 DG DN OS Sport I managed to snap a few half decent pics as well - including some close up shots of the elusive Sand Martins. As far as budget friendly days out go this is one of my absolute favourites. A few quid to park, a quick coffee in the visitors centre and we're off!

Nice video well presented and interesting. Druridge Bay is my back door born and bread here I know all the places you have walked but have never seen that post with the coins ( you learn something new every day ) as for the tank traps just think of the poor lads that mixed the concrete and poured it into a wooden mould all the way up the coast. On your next visit see if you can find the old gunpit ( Pill box ) there's still a little bit of it showing. Further along towards Creswell there is a gunpit that looks like an old shepards cottage made to fool the Germans.
I could watch this all day long. Well done man
