I have been taking lessons from Keats for about a year and he's wonderfully supportive, articulate, has a great sense of humor and is really gifted with finding metaphors to explain subtleties. I'm a beginner, but have been playing the piano for 64 years and the flute for almost 60 years, now semi-professionally. I thought learning cello would be fun. Well, it's hard work, but Keats provides me ambition and determination when my own falters. He's very patient and sensitive and I think would be great at teaching kids. (I've taught a lot of music lessons myself and know what it takes.) We all know music is great for developing young people's intelligence and emotional intelligence, so I would highly recommend giving him a call. My guess it that he's bound for a truly satisfying career as a cellist and bringing the love of the cello to many students.
