making toast for my bruv vic ,, hes so spoilt ,,,,
my 2006 purchased new in Arizona just hit 70k miles and looks and rides like a new bike....... Nice bike brother !!!!
Could you please tell me what the controls on the right accelerator handle bars are for. Under the engine off switch. There's a 123 sideways switch and a number 5 on and off. Just bought a 2013 police st. Thanks
A real beauty. Have one myself. I will soon wake it up from the winter sleep
Hi there, thank you, it's always going to be a work in progress with a few more personal touches to be had along the journey so to speak, enjoy your beast when you decide to get her out, stay safe and enjoy, kind regards to you,,,, tosh
Just bought one , love it , such a comfortable bike with great wind protection. Handles so well for a big lump , surprisingly nimble. Just a heavy bastard to man handle , but once up and running the weight disappears. Mine has the light upgrade which transforms the lights and the look , with the dash now easy to read. Anyone thinking about getting a st1300 get one you wont be disappointed.
Sweet baby Geezus. I'm Canadian, can you put on some subtitles on the next videos? Great video. Audio accent...Bolix. Heh heh
I had an FJR agree very Sporty always felt a Little Top heavy, when slow speed maneuvering. Looking at a ST1300 how does it compare weight wise?
More heavy for sure, be wise not to nose into a dip heavy for sure and definitely wider, but with that said definitely a more comfortable ride and soooo much more protection against bad weather ,,,
@@bikemadtosh3006 Thanks for the advice👍
Thanks for the info. I am selling my BMW GSA for a later model ST.
Quality. Ride safe pal
video sympa
🤪👍
Funny feature. Like it.
How hard is it to have the pan's bar risers put on??
Hey Tosh, Just happened upon your channel. Enjoying your video.
What helmet cam / mount do you use ?
Drift ghost xl,,,
Those systems are crap I have fitted an Electronic cruise on my ST1300 which works just like a car, cancel using front brake, rear brake and clutch also switch off manually. Mine came out of Australia made by McCruise, look it up.
how far do come up north, drop in and visit the veterans garage Barton airfield Manchester.
How quiet is the bike?
Very smooth and quiet
Extremely quiet,
Extremely quiet, rolls Royce of bikes
Very good 🤑🤑
Pair of nutters 😆
my dream bike, just to short and to old for it know.
j ai 64 et 1,73 m et sa passe le seul defaut c est le poids mais avec l habitude sa passe
Definitely going to be my next bike - thanks for the excellent review, really felt I was on the bike. Love your accent as well, nice to listen to your commentary/thoughts - thanks!
Your welcome matey
Hi Tosh, as Geoff commented did you trade in the Pan?
Hi Barry, no have not traded pan, but did sell my Royal star, fancied a change, but wanted a little something lighter,
Still got her , she's laid up stripped at moment as doing a complete overhaul, so at present stripped😢
Nice one tosh , you still got the pan?
Hi Geoff, no still have her, fancied a change of riding so sold my Royal star and brought this,,
Hi jock can you say who did your upgrades please
he advertised on ebay but also can Google him, called lighten upgrade,,, kindest regards
Just bought one same as yours 4 weeks ago from the off I knew heat would be an issue. Trade off fo a bike that is so good most of the year.
Same as, I'll put up with it as a blinding bike, sooooo comfortable
Thanks mate
Mate I find the same melt your bollocks in this heat there got bikes to ride but like you I still love riding mine I am getting a naked bike to go alongside her
Hi Tosh, they do get really hot mate, if your interested I have a 96 mk1 1200 Bandit which needs a bit of TLC, its currently sorn.
Hi Barry, I've found that out with the heat myself 😆, but thanks for the offer matey but I've actually got one in mind which is a friend's bike but I'm only thinking about it for now, but your a diamond for thinking of me, and kindest regards to you 😀
Yup...those v-4 headers are positioned like a radiator....here's a guy who worked on heat problem. ua-cam.com/video/kM8SBjtVu6A/v-deo.html Not sure if I will perform that work....that heat is appreciated in the spring and fall :)
Hi ya Rob, thanks for the heads up, think like I'll put up with it 😆 kindest regards to you
Nice one tosh , put the link in the description mate
Good morning Geoff, ebay item number in heading , glad you like my friend, if video helps its a job well done in my eyes, take care and be safe, kindest regards to yourself,,, tosh
@@bikemadtosh3006 cheers mate I’ll look it out I want to try it on my pan mate
Hi Geoff, fro. Personal test I myself can recommend, it's a very cheap alternative from the much more expensive options but a item that works for a small budget 😀, but for hand relief priceless, I hope you get on with the item if you decide to try one and happy cruising days ahead, enjoy your pan no matter what you decide, all the very best and stay safe mate, kindest regards tosh,,,,
@@bikemadtosh3006 cheers tosh, thanks for sharing mate
I love it round that part of the coast. When in Hythe next go and have a look at the church with the crypt underneath. Crypt of St Leonard I think it's called. Job to park you bike there though! It's pretty steep where the church is. Worth it for the view and to see all the bones if the crypt is open. Nice bike though. I haven't got down there on my bike so you've got me thinking now that I need to plan a trip down that way. I keep looking at Pan's. I must admit to being a Honda fan and always wanted a ST1100, even when I was in my 30's lol. I may get one yet. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Richard, I'll certainly look it up at some point, I've ridden a 1100 lovely and smooth bike, but this one came up and I do love a big bike, they really run lovely and smooth, hope you get one and enjoy it , thanks matey 😀
just bought one, same colour. Be watching your chnnel now.
Enjoy your beast, absolute dreams of a bike,,
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Pan clan mate likeminded folk ,excellent channel just made you up to 20
Hi Geoff Love pans and love being part of the community Thanks for your remark Stay safe Kind regards terry
@@bikemadtosh3006 cheers buddy I got another one today , missed her so much
Nice ride great video, Sir!
Hi Chris, Thank you very much for your message, Kind regards terry
Hi tosh love your video noticed how narrow your roads are lots of traffic as well.I think you would enjoy the roads here in New Brunswick Canada ,lots of back roads, twisties you can really let the ST fly Cheers and ride safe
How nice would that be travelling your roads , if only 😆, but yes very narrow here and way too many motors, now jealousy sets in haha, stay safe matey 👍
Fantastic....who did the work?
He advertised the kit on ebay, called lightenupgrade, type on Google and he's also on there name mark in lincoln
I missed who did your dash...was it Chiefpep?
Hi , a guy called Mark, it's called lightenupgrade, Google or also advertised kit on ebay
Top!! 👌✌👍
Thanks matey 👍
Great vid...how do you find the heat coming off the engine? Some have wrapped the header pipes to shuffle some of the heat out.
I'm not sure if already maybe sorted as I don't seem to have a heat problem too much , so hoping I'm OK matey,,,
Heat off engine is like my shins are a bbq 😂 lovely in winter though, can't comment on having parts covered but must be a good idea,,,
Great info...just sold my Kawasaki Ninja ZX14....and now have a 2005 ST, 74k miles....following a few ST tubers...one thing...keep petro no lower than two bars as the fuel pump sits in the lower tank and the fuel will keep it running cool. If lower than two bars the open air and condensation will cause corrosion....
That's fantastic news to keep in mind, thanks for the info,,,
@@bikemadtosh3006 Indeed. I did not know about that. Thank you.
Ha Ha Ha 😂😂😂
Thx for that Robert, just bought a 2004 and well worth knowing 👍
@@mickclitheroe8585 You will love the ST....to be honest when I first bought it I thought it was the most boring bike I ever owned....sounds like a sewing machine...does nothing spectacular....but after a few trips I started to realize it was super comfortable and consistent....ride all day and carry a ton....one thing about the bike....don't park uphill....a pig to try to back up....as I said at the beginning, the ST you will love.
I'll have to keep my eye out for you mate, I often drive around that area, I'm up near Bexley and regularly drive to Headcorn, Rye, Hastings, Dungerness, Dymchurch etc. great video.
That'll be me and you for sure, I only live in Chatham, I actually brought my bike from bexley 😆
Hi mate, great video, I also have a 1300 pan and recently fitted a rack to the the top box lid. It is a givi E107B £51.00, it comes with template and fittings, when you are happy with the position silicon it in position as water will get into the box.
Hi ya, seen same similar on ebay, thinking Same as yourself for sure, looks same ,,
Thank you everyone for watching my videos, I appreciate it more than you can imagine, if possible I would appreciate it if you could like/subscribe,, more videos to follow , but please stay safe out there and kindest regards to everyone,,,,,
Thank you very much regarding the lightenupgrade, it's a definite 👍,
Hi, thank you for your comments,, firstly may I say that my heated grips were already installed and I can't comment on if original or not and no maker's name but they work fantastic,, ,, update, yes are original and are honda, I've just found a complete set for sale and brought them as a spare set 😀
Hi mate, just found your video, I'm a st1300 owner, I have a 2004 model and I installed the lightenupgrade dash kit myself, a big improvement.
Was the upgrade that difficult?
@@robertmacdonald2735 It depends on your soldering skills, there are a lot of leds to remove and then replace.
Good informative video....I just picked up an 2005 ST1300....it is smooth like you say. Agree on the sportiness or lack of versus the FJR. Your heated grips...are they aftermarket and if so, what brand?
