Why 3d why not 2d or 4d ?
That is not simple d's ☺ AP with Ist term a-3d and common difference =2d You won't get a better result if you take another terms. I mean terms involving d's won't get zero on adding 4 terms.
@@Simplemathhelp but how a student gets to know what to be used and why? Because as i know a consecutive integers means with a common uniform difference like 1,2,3,or 2,5,8,11,14 etc. so why not we use a,a+d,a+2d,a+3d and so on?
Dear Student at Ist I am appreciating you for sharing your thoughts ❤ I have already explained reason at 2:29 of video, but let me try to explain once again : Here we have no idea about first term and common difference. only a hint given is sum of terms is 32 okay If we take a-3d,a-d,a+d,a+3d as our terms(first term:a-3d ,cd: 2d) a-3d+a-d+a+d+a+3d=32 implies 4a=32 that means we can find our a easily a=8 But if we take other a,a+d,a+2d,a+3d this is not possible If you take a-2d,a-d,a+d,a+2d problem is that it is not in an AP. their common difference is not same Another option is:a-6d,a-2d,a+2d,a+6d (first term:a-6d ,cd: 4d) which lead to same result . Is that clear ☺

sin^2 A + cos^2 A=1 implies sin^2 A= 1- cos^2 A 1-2sin^2 A=1-2(1- cos^2 A) =1- 2.1 - (-2).cos^2 A (taking 2 inside bracket) = 1- 2 + 2cos^2 A [-(-2) becomes +2] = -1+2 cos^2 A = 2 cos^2 A-1 (rewriting) is that okay 😀

log is defined for base 10 and ln is denoted for base e. Should the correct answer be 2 ln |sqrt(x)-1| + C ??
Both ln and log can be use to denote natural logarithm (base e) dear ☺ If there is a context to represent both log to base 10 and log to base e we use log and ln to distinguish between them as a notation. If there is nothing like that especially here we have context of logarithm to base e only. So here log means default base e
