How to Create Clickable Email Links in Excel | Send Emails with One Click
Learn how to turn your Excel data into clickable email links using the HYPERLINK formula! This simple method allows you to send personalized emails directly from your spreadsheet without any manual copying and pasting. In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through step-by-step on how to create custom mailto links that pre-fill email addresses, subject lines, and even messages. Perfect for managing contacts or sending bulk emails!
Formula Used:
=HYPERLINK("mailto:" & B2 & "?subject=" & C2 & "&body=" & D2, "Email " & A2)
How it Works:
The HYPERLINK function creates a clickable link in Excel.
"mailto:" & B2: This part specifies the recipient's email address from cell B2.
"?subject=" & C2: This adds a subject line from cell C2 to the email.
"&body=" & D2: This includes a personalized message from cell D2 in the body of the email.
The second part "Email " & A2 customizes the clickable text to show “Email” followed by the person’s name in cell A2.
When you click the link, your email client will open with the recipient’s email, subject, and message already filled in. This is a quick and efficient way to automate your email tasks straight from Excel!

Hi there, I have a price file and I am trying to impliment your formula. I have gone as far as to copy your data exactly the same onto my workbook. I keep getting an error. help!help!
Hi there! Thanks for trying out the formula! Sorry to hear you're facing an issue, let’s see if we can fix it together. Here are a few things to double-check: --Ensure the table is named properly: After converting the data to a table using Ctrl + T, did you rename the table to DataTable? You can check the table name by selecting any cell in your table, and in the top left corner of Excel (in the Name Box), it should say DataTable. --Check cell references: Make sure that your search box (where you're entering your search term) is linked to cell B2. You can verify this by right-clicking the text box, selecting Properties, and checking the Linked Cell field, which should be set to $B$2. --Formula Check: Here’s the formula again, ensure it’s copied exactly like this: =FILTER(DataTable, ISNUMBER(SEARCH($B$2, DataTable[Product Name])), "Not Found") DataTable should be the name of your table. Product Name should be the exact column header in your table (case-sensitive). --Error Message: If you're getting a specific error message, let me know what it says! We can troubleshoot it more from there. Let me know if this helps, and feel free to reach out if it’s still not working-happy to assist! 😊
Let me share with you a sample file and, download it to your PC for you to check and compare with your file. 1drv.ms/x/s!Amv47Z6vI-CfwQMiCvQ_ZNzJVsR3?e=fsQhD4

Image not showing after download
Thanks for your question! If the image isn't showing after downloading the file, here are a few things to check: Ensure Internet Connectivity: The IMAGE formula links to an online image URL, so make sure you are connected to the internet to display the images. Verify the URLs: Double-check that the URLs in the IMAGE formula are correct and still accessible online. Sometimes, images are removed or the links break, causing them not to appear. Excel Version: The IMAGE formula works in Excel 365 and Excel Online. Make sure you're using a compatible version of Excel. If you’re using an older version, the images may not show up. Try Re-Downloading: Sometimes, files may get corrupted during download. Try downloading the file again and see if that fixes the issue. Let me know if this helps or if you're still facing issues!"
