As a former gm tech, unless it was made right after/during covid, they arent bad. Really any brand that made trucks after april of 2020 went down hill. Plus, 9/10, its usually the modified trucks that always have problems

I have 3 OBS pickups with shit tons of miles and the worst thing I've had to do was intake gaskets on them and one trans rebuild in my k1500 farm truck with over 300k miles and 25+ years of abuse. My k2500 has 250k miles and it tows my racecar and trailer every week and the engine and trans have never been apart. My NBS silverado has 150k miles and I've had to put an alternator on it in the past 10 years. My trucks are literally never in the shop, i can't remember the last time i had to take one in for something. It's been several years. I don't know shit about anything built in the past 10 years. I've heard alot of bad things about all newer trucks, regardless of brand.

Don't ever buy a bullshit truck like this, oversized, tiny ass bed, lifted which makes it harder to load and unload, full of electronics and a bunch of unnecessary crap.

Or just stop messing y’all’s trucks up with dumbass tuners and lifts my stock Chevy has never gave me problems it’s cause y’all always wanna do dumb shit to your trucks it looks cool yea but in the end takes away from the longevity of the truck

New Chevy's aren't like they used to be. Their quality control is crap now. The first and second gen Silverados were some of the best trucks ever made. Any Silverado after 2014 is basically trash. At least it's not as bad as Dodge. Every single vehicle they have is trash and is in the shop every few hours.

What happen

Just bought a 2024 5.3 Silverado that had 12 miles on it after my test drive and I have had it a month 2 weeks of which it’s been in the shop for the same issue that they can not figure out.
