Well drilled crew.
So, I know these are seen as obsolete in anti tank combat nowadays, but this could be still useful as a short range artillery with that absurd firing rate, right?
@@teremin Not obsolete at all in Ukraine as russians are using obsolete armored vehicles 😁
@@taurisepp My point exactly 😄
Is the loader aiming? Looks like a lot of movement in the barrel between shots, how are they keeping it on target?
There is a third guy doing the aiming on the other side of barrel
Sir, the camel is finally dead.

I thought this was an ARMA screenshot or something from a video game based on the thumbnail. The overcast sky makes everything look like it has ambient occlusion on it.
I can just feel the cold air in this video, It's almost like I'm actually there, I can feel the environment and it's rather nice, perfect day to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, extra points if it's morning
@@topbrasstv8867 it was a chilly November afternoon... About -5 degrees Celsius.
@@taurisepp it must be pretty cool being able to mess with all that weaponry once in a while
Somehow my brain can’t comprehend recoilless guns while imagining it in my own head 💀
The pressure coming from the back of the gun, is equal to the pressure that comes out the front from the shells propulsion, this equalises the recoil at the front and back.
is this where the original Leman Russ battle tank main gun firing sounds from 😳
Old swedish AT-gun. Estonia got equipment and weapons for an entire brigade from Sweden in the 90's. But. It can still pack a punch to the enemy ❤
Yes
The crew looks proficient but the circumstance are nothing like real combat. But...I wouldn't want to be driving up on these guys in a vehicle.
it seems one should not be behind this gun. It does not recoil, but burns.
Nope...it will kill if one would stand right behind the gun
That's about the craziest AT weapon I've seen yet.
Fairly common type of AT weapon during the Cold War. Still useful for dealing with IFVs and similair vehicles, even tanks in some circumstances.
@@lavrentivs9891 Yes I'm familiar with AT guns but what makes this one odd for me is the carriage. Usually recoiless guns would either be a towed gun but made like a small cannon or would be mounted on a vehicle but this one is on it's own tripod and it's supported by a hanging pivot where the gunner can readily move the gun's aim himself.
@@Jazzman-bj9fq It was normally mounted on a vehicle or towed. I could also be drawn behind skiers. ua-cam.com/video/MVBLYqWxGmI/v-deo.htmlsi=fM8J2zrlB4KjvMxq
@@Jazzman-bj9fq The gun is usually mounted on a vehicle, but can also be dismounted and used like we see above when the situation (and terrain) calls for it. It can also be towed or even pulled behind skiing troops. I tried sharing a video about the weapon and the terrain car it was mounted on, but that comment seems to have been deleted, but you could try looking for it yourself, at the "Arsenalen" tank museum youtube channel, and "PVPJTGB9030".
@@Jazzman-bj9fq the Pvpj 1110's mount is exceptionally light and small. While a fire-team usually consists of 3-4, one man is enough to move this thing quote easily. The mount is also modular to allow the gun and its little socket to be put on a vehicle in just a few seconds while the carriage can be towed behind a jeep (or even a bike IIRC). But alternatively you can just tow the whole thing in one piece behind basically anything. The ball/socket join used for aiming also allows the gun to be used and aimed easily even if the carriage is on a slant or hill, which isn't the case in a regular aiming device. All in all, the Pvpj 1110 is am amazing piece of kit, and I think it's going to be used for a looooong time.
Al segundo disparo ya estarian muertos. Esos cañones son muy facil de localizar, una vez que dispara. Su seguridad radica en la rapida retirada. Solo posible instalado sobre un vehículo.
You are correct... They are very difficult to hide against modern thermal cameras.
perfect home defence weapon to be honest.

this is a swedish gun
@@Malte_Climbs their camo is Estonian, and was confirmed by the video uploader saying that they are training. @@Dragonyy-sb51 its still a swedish gun 🤦♂🤦♂
@@Malte_Climbs yeah, but i interpreted your comment as saying they are not in estonia because the gun is Swedish. sorry about that, its a misunderstanding... We have both made true points here, but you are still right about the Swedish gun thing.
Yehaw!! Thats some kick ass gun drill fellas.
looks like a huge bazooka. Will this take out a MBT ?
Its a old Swedish recoilless cannon, it will murder a AFV, hurt a older MBT, but only irritate a modern MBT, but can threaten modern MTB from the flank. The gun Its surprisingly "mobile" with hand power.

boys wasting ammunition.
so much wobbling of the barrel...can it hit something?
Yes it can. At the moment of shot the barrel is stable. It is an accurate weapon up to 1100m.
А куда попадает?
С такой скоростью прицеливания, в никуда.
Bloody bath day by day 😊
They fire anti armor rounds without aiming. Thats just a waste of ammo and time. And they try to waste it even faster (7 wasted shots per minute ! Brilliant)
This is actually training round made from gypsum. The bang, weight and flight trajectory are exactly the same as real round. Every shot was aimed.
On a real battlefield, they would never have been in the open like this, they would have been sent to the next world by a sniper a long time ago. And aiming by hand is generally beyond evil .
A good rate of fire, but minus the aiming. Direct fire needs constant aiming. Perhaps that technique would be best for artillery. Edit: didn't realize there were three gunners. Good aiming then, plus good camo.
There were two BMP size targets at 400m and 700m. 4 shots at first and 3 at second target...all hits. These guns are very accurate and easy to aim. Good shooter can constantly hit A4 size paper at 500m.
@@taurisepp Were the targets moving? When I took artillery training in the US Army in 1965 on a 105mm howitzer, there was actually a session firing at a moving target. Not sure if it was worth doing, but we did it anyway. Rate of fire about the same (if I recall correctly from 59 years ago).
@@kennethquesenberry2610 no...stationary targets
The gunner is "constantly aiming", what on earth are you talking about?
@@brus4691you mean aiming backwards?
Is he actually aiming that thing?
Are you talking about the loader? No he's not because there's a gunner doing the aiming and shooting on the other side of the gun. Look carefully and you will see him. I didn't immediately see him myself.
@@eazypeazy2964 The gunner is not using the pivotmountbrake in the frontgrip. You use it to stabilise the gun when you fire. The gunner is just resting the grip on left hand, not holding the grip for aming? ;-)
@@erikbergstrom5522 I was the gunner and there was no need to hold the brake. If your fist is big enough then you can rest the handle on the fist and this makes the gun stable.
@taurisepp You are right. Thanks. You use the brake to stabelise the barrel when reloading as the granade balances the gun when in place in the gun. Looong time since I used it. 1986. 😇 Holy smoke, 38 years ago.
@@taurisepp As I remember, our gunners never missed a shot. I am convinced our good neighbours are even better. I hope to visit Estonia soon again.💕

Sabot round, the pointed tip is going to cut the armour of tank like knife cuts hot butter.
High Explosive Anti Tank. The nose spike is a stand-off fuze so the shaped charge can detonate at the right distance from the armour for best jet formation. These guns are low pressure and relatively low velocity. KE rounds don't really work out of them

@@tauriseppLooks like it has the same M8C .50 cal spotting rifle mounted on the top of the gun like the 106mm M40 recoiless rifle
@@heinersaller5374 there is a spotting rifle on top of main gun. It is 308 semiauto with 20 rounds magazine. Bullet trajectory is the same as main gun. Tracer rounds are used in this spotting rifle. Shooter will do pop-pop-pop with spotting rifle and when sees a hit on target will send main round with a flick of a switch.
what s proven here, seems more like waist of materials of several thousands per shot.
This was surplus training ammo, close to last due date. Real AT ammo for this cannon costs approx 200€ per pop.
wow cheap lol@@taurisepp
You know you have to train for war. Under fire and under stress this become much harder. Practice like this rapid fire drill is important. Imagine if your position is under assault from multiple armored vehicles. Being able to hit target in rapid succession is the difference between life and death. So no, it's not a waste of ammo.
Its training ammo, full war shoot is earsplitting and have a huge back blast.
