I enjoy your podcasts and love your projects. I also will be casting on the Colette by Sari Nordlund, but I have pivoted my plan to using stash yarn for a summer, short-sleeve version and I hope to knit that while on vacation in Panama over our Christmas break. One does need a summer project while on a winter vacation in a warm climate, of course! I am repurposing my own KFO Merino and SSM in stash to knit Helia, which I just cast on this weekend. It is lovely to try a pattern from a new to me designer and I have never knit a jumper with cables just on the sleeve. I think this could be the right balance of complex and simple and make a flattering garment. Lily Kate is on my list for this year. I love the garments you make with her patterns. Lastly, I chuckled when you mentioned needing to use up your yarn from Barcelona before returning to Barcelona, as that is exactly how I am about my annual trip to Rhinebeck. I can buy what I want but it must be used prior to my return. I just finished up a sweater, Jennifer Steingass's Norwood, using the last of my purchases at Rhinebeck only 2 weeks before returning. Sometimes deadlines can be so useful.

I'm knitting the Alma mittens, having been inspired by Florence of ' Handmade by Florence ' episode 34. She pointed out that the Alma mittens are constructed to allow for the shape and movement of the thumb. Also they are lovely. Just in case you want to try them. Your workmanship is also beautiful Anastasia ..thank you for the inspiration.
