So important. Hearing loss is a major reason for cognitive decline as well.
Used updoc.Basically stole my money didn't receive a phone call from a doctor or a correct medical certificate. After emailing them 15 times over 4 days trying to get the situation addressed they blocked me from logging in.Wouldnt recommend there are plenty of other better ones online .. Happy to take your money but once it's been taken they no longer care.
just hit 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉454 subscribers thank you all
He became a total normie...I loved his guitar/vocal work in Norther
What’s even better is Pete the host of this interview used to host a metal radio show in early 2000s and played A LOT of melodic death metal bands... Will have to go into the archives to see if there’s an interview with Norther in there! 😉
I’m a Dr looking to venture into health tech, any tips would be highly appreciated 🙏🏿
Episode 430 and 331 of the Talking HealthTech podcast would be a good place to start! 🙏🏻
@@talkinghealthtech thank you, I’ll do exactly that
Just add a little color to this great video the need for the IT jobs you mentioned will greatly increase as more Clinical Business Analyst & Digital Health degrees emerge!!! These are newer degree sets but the focus is on making financial cases for automation & optimization in hospitals & for quicker communication from Dr to insurance company so DRs/Nurses have more patient facing & care time than documenting time.. 💗🎉
@@CoCo-Applebum spot on! 🎯
Thanks for chatting with us at HLTH!
Great content, as always! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Ai = standardized healthcare. If there is something wrong with the programming, it would be easy to audit. Individual practitioners, you have one million doctors, you get one million different styles of practice -> impossible to audit.
The idea of a digital health avatar kinda reminds me of the Pip-boy from Fallout.
@@JadeCorrigan-y2h ooo yes! As long as it isn’t black mirror… 👀 Although pip-boy be more useful for remote patient monitoring? Seems a pretty trendy wearable for all those actionable health insights 🤓
As a NSW Health Network engineer, It has been refreshing to see Networks and its dependencies regularly acknowledged in the past few years, the network is basically the foundation for every single device that sits on it and is dependent upon its reliability and security. Fabric is a new player for macro and macro segmentation allowing edge security such as ISE in Cisco, this allows for a converged network enhancing and improving the overall experience for all users. However a Health network goes far beyond this conversation.
great video
Your content is very good.
Great interview!
What is the progress of nano technology and nanobots
great question will have to line up a new video for this! 👀 watch this space...
Nano technology and nanobots in healthcare 🔍
This might be the nichest, geekiest podcast episode I've ever listened to, but the content is absolutely on the money. Awesome guests.
@@josh_case we found our people! Kudos to the algo 🙌🕺💃
This woman promoted the novel MRNA vaccines, now called by its right name - gene therapy onto pregnant breastfeeding women.... enough said to describe her??
Awesome episode guys, really enjoyed it!
Updoc owes me a important amount of money. Now i have to change all my details on my cards as westpac fraud sqaud sorts out the BS. Im very sick and not far from death, and rather then help me, they refunded my frist fee and said they would cancel the re-acuring fee's. Well due to not being alert, i realised i could afford to buy food, when nothing else changed in my spending. Thats when i was horrified to see a vital amount of my savings has been taken from these tyrants. My blood is still boiling and im way to sick to get this stress. They can rot in hell as far as im concerned. Thank God for Westpac Australia. They pointed out the theft as my eyes are failing to read properly now :( They new how sick and can't prescribe half of the meds i require. God bless Westpac for helping me (Simon was his name i believe) Sorry to rant, but it's a warning to others thinking of signing up with them.
I used to practice in Australia, and it was my first deep dive into EMR work using Medical Director!
The channel I was looking for
Don't know what's going on with the rest of the same day

I really enjoyed these conversations. Intersystems and Sheba MC both standouts - but they’re all fascinating.
Thanks Lindsey! There are a few extra ones here on our UA-cam channel too! 😁
Great podcast!!
Great talk! Thanks for sharing the podcast with Nick. See you at HIMSS 2025? 😀
Exciting technology!
With the multiple systems required in Health that primarily work autonomously, there is an urgency to interface / interconnect so that analytics with the aid of AI can be fully utilised, ultimately leading to improved outcomes of patient care. SDPR will drive some of this change.
I think you're on the money mate. Big mountain to climb in NSW with SDPR though! 🏔
Your channel is so great but sadly so underrated, the edit skills and the information and level of professionalism is so great Definitely deserve more recognition👌
Thanks Sophie and Giovanni ! Excellent interview. Lots of value offered!!
Thanks Rod!
Another great episode sharing some real implementable opportunities to use new technology for the benefit of many. Very easy listening too, good work Pete and Ken.
Thanks Lindsey! 🙏🏻
I really enjoyed this talk Pete. I found myself inspired to focus on prevention. I’m doing that in my personal life, what can I do to increase my influence more in healthcare? It topped up my positive vibes for this topic, thanks!
Yes! We need more of this in the system! But maybe if we all start with ourselves that can get the momentum going 💪
After having watched the whole video still can have the answer to 'What makes an implementation successful'? What are the measurements of success? How does success look like?
With so many stakeholders in healthcare it feels like a complicated moving target doesn’t it! In the end if clinicians have more time to care for patients that’s a great start to success 🎯
I really relate to James' comments around that feeling of wanting "more and more acquisiton" for your startup, only to find once you get a fraction more, problems in your operation begin to arise. For us it's really been a see-saw between seasons of wanting more water in the bucket, and then conversely seasons of frantically patching holes - and I think that's a healthy dynamic for an emerging company to have.
💯 Josh - and reassuring to be reminded that it’s a healthy dynamic - when you’re deep in that motion it can feel far from healthy! Timely reminded for sure 🙏🏻
Love hearing from James and Sophie. I won't lie I cried with laughter at 5:05 😂
😅 that did go down a rather interesting path didn’t it
A few heealthtech GOATs involved in this one! Great episode Chris and Pete and Sophie!
Thanks Josh - totally agree Chris and Sophie nailed this one 🔥 very on point

The concussion tech looks cool! And topical / important. Would potentially have applications in my work in emergency departments, too.
Very true! The tools a first responder has to determine a concussion are fairly primitive when you reflect on it hey. For such an impactful incident
Excellent video When will you upload your next video?
Thanks! 🙏🏻 Next episode in the coming days! 😀🙌
Very thought provoking. Will share the link.
Thanks so much! Some really important messages to get out there about aged care and community 🙏🏻
Awesome episode, I'm loving the video format. Feel like I get so much more depth out of the episode. Also, how good is Jim and his storytelling. Really demonstrating how puwerful that is for entrepreneurs when they're explaining their mission/purpose/company.
Thanks Josh! 🙏🏻 agree, Jim def knows how to bring you into the moment 🪄
Thanks Josh and THT…gotta love a good yarn 😊
Really enjoyed this conversation. It seems clear that this team appreciate the realities of needing to work with legacy and new technologies within an environment and doing the hard work to deliver useful and optimal solutions.
Thanks Lindsay, glad you enjoyed it! It’s a fine balance isn’t it! ⚖️
@@talkinghealthtech - always. Getting that balance right is trickier than we’d like sometimes, with very difficult decisions to be made to achieve that too.
This also needs to be offered to rural locums, gave licences set up and have on-line training. I had to drive 500km out of my way in my own time to get training. If you are serious about helping clinicians adopt this, the barriers need to come down. Come on Microsoft, let’s have a virtual training portal for remote clinicians.
Why has Mackay had this for two years and it’s only just been extended to the peripherals by accident ?
The advantages of legibility of typed notes cannot be overstated. I used Medical Director in GP land and going back to paper in little hospitals nearly killed me.
Very important indeed
I work in the same HHS but in one of the small single doctor rural hospitals and I have very recently adopted Dragon and it’s saving me so much time. My main complaint is that these technologies are not offered to understaffed rurals in a timely fashion. Effective use of truly time-saving medical record tech is a big part of addressing the rural workforce crisis that is just not being pursued.
Great
Was great to be part of the panel!
