A nod should be given to Grady Martin. He was on a few of those recordings with his unmistakable boogie guitar. ‘All By Myself’, ‘The Train Kept a Rollin’’ being a couple of them of them, and ironically ‘Lonesome Train’ right here! Paul Burlison’s telecaster and style can be heard on ‘Tear It Up’ ‘Oh Baby Babe’ Another interesting thing is that they were given an orchestra for their New York recordings, of which they only kept the drummer who played how he felt on ‘Tear it Up’ and ‘Oh Baby Babe.’ This is a great example of a brand new style of music played by someone who didn’t really have a plan and played it how he felt. You can hear how sporadic the drumming is and it’s the epitome of rockabilly. Your average mainstream drummer would/could not play that way today (now that rockabilly has become a more mainstream style (no offence to the purists)) which is a loss. It’s actually quite remarkable playing and is how it should be, from the heart and less regimental, in my honest and nerdy opinion. One listen to Grady Martin’s ’When My Dreamboat Comes Home’ and you’ll get it.

1953 Paul Burlison sorta looks like 1955 Carl Perkins -- coincidence? Related?

Depends on the criteria. Elvis copied Gene Vincents style/leather outfit at his 68 Comeback Special.

Mr. Franks was one of those unsung Heroes of Country music. Hank Williams famous white suit was actually his he loaned it to Hank when Hank came to Shreveport, La with not even a dollar in his pocket and Tillman helped him break into the music scene.

Two things I didn´t like: That Jerry Lee Lewis brief fragment of a interview is not from 1986. And I don´t know who's piano playing we've heard from 1:12 to 1:31, but that's not Jerry Lee.
