"Hollow gaze" - Digital portrait [Speedpaint]
Portrait study. Really wanted to be more subtle with values here, wanted to achieve as much dimensionality with as little value change as possible. In places it makes things look kinda flat and I like the way it contrasts with more voluminous parts of the work. Well, as usual I did play with the colors too, it's like my thing :)

I really liked the show, the artstyle, the mood and everything. I especially liked the way Laios is drawn throughout the show (Trigger never misses bro), so I wanted to paint him. Turned out way better than I expected btw xd

And I am totally fine with doing a tutorial on coloring, but the thing is that I am not a very technical artist and just tend to go with the flow, so I play around with the color and lighting a lot and it's kinda hard to combine it all in a single straighforward tutorial. My coloring takes a lot of inspiration from asian artists, I do share some tips in my previous video tho (the one about portrait in 2 hours), so, u can check it out if u want to
