The original Jimmie Rogers version didn't have a repeated chorus. "Oo ee, oo ee, your just as drunk as me" was introduced by the Alex Harvey version.

A couple of months ago, I had the good fortune to see Paul Jones and Dave Kelly, and it there I discovered this song. Just love Dave’s bottleneck playing. There are other good versions, Eric Clapton, Brownie McGhee and Sonny Terry are worth a listen also.
