I found this random video of me driving in Cairo, Egypt with a friend, commenting what I see etc. We were on the way to my place to film the "One day in a Niqab" video. Nothing artistic here, just random life in Cairo :) (and VERY random music, lol)

Another video for the "Sounds of Cairo" series! Here is the Nile in Cairo, as seen from the Novotel El Borg Hotel's rooftop. This is where I spent the 28th of January, and from where I saw the Revolution. It was definitely moving going back there and seeing that life is back to normal now. Beautiful Cairo!

These comments disgust me and most of these are prob your average Americans this is sad Alhamdulillah to be muslim
I am a Christian American and I wear niqab when outside. I don't find it uncomfortable in the least. And I don't know where she is from, but that is not an American accent.

A Niqab or Burqa is a whole body condom which is ideally suited to concealing physical inadequacies. . It prevents that everyone can see what is under the garment hidden. If you don't have a burqa at your disposal, you can also put on a cardboard box. Care should be taken to cut out small slits so that one does not stumble over obstacles. In Muslim countries it is absolutely necessary to wear such clothing. There it is used for self-protection.
Tf, you don't need to wear hijab, niqab etc when going to Middle Eastern countries (don't bring up Saudi bc people there dont have to wear anything either), and what even is this comment?
@@user-xn5ez3lz9d Greetings from Afghanistan. Taliban chief Hibatullah Achundsada ordered Afghan women to cover their faces in public, with the exception of their eyes. Is there a monster hiding under that eerie black? Coming straight from hell? God should protect us from that. Humans should never do such a terrible thing, that is not well.
@@marculatour6229 Afghanistan isn't in the Middle East. Afghanistan is also 1 of the 50 Muslim countries that fully implements Islamic law.
@@AnonymousReader-er4eg Yes, therefore we have in Afghanistan the heaven on earth. Congratulations. All Muslims should try to live in this promised land. It would be better they implent human rights. People are not there to serve a religion, religion must serve people. As long as people don't understand this, there will always be violations of human rights. A good Muslim Afghan Taliban women and a god Iran woman has to cover her face as a sign of submission and as a sign of inferiority. If you don't want to be electroshocked there, don´t want to be tortured there or go to jail, you should stick to that. Many people think, good Muslim womans in other countries have also to cover her face as a sign of submission and as a sign of inferiority. Receiving electric shocks should be a normal treatment for Muslim women. The Taliban have had very good experiences with this in Afghanistan. And the Mullahs in Iran too. So this should be in all Muslim countries become natural. And all over the world. Sura 4:34 Men are the managers of women, because of the advantage Allah has granted some of them over others, and by virtue of their spending out of their wealth. In Afghanistan and Iran Islamic men have already discovered, that women have less brain power than men. As a sign therefore, all women there must wear a niqab on. For work at home, in the kittchen, they need not a lot of brain capacity. My suggestion for all women, who wear on a niqab as compulsory part of theire religiuos life, go to Afghanistan or Iran and have there a fulfilled life. Maybe in a prison.
@@marculatour6229 afghanistan and iran are outliers. the rest of the muslim world wishes these two countries death.

Do you Recommended To Non Muslim Woman To wear Full Niqab?
I can only speak for myself. I am a Christian and I wear niqab, jilbab etc. And it certainly works if you want to be modest. I would advise a pull-down niqab in case you have to show your face to confirm your ID.
@@harrietharlow9929why would you wear the niqab if you’re Christian?
@@Lionsoftheumma Because I made a promise to God. Wearing it keeps my mind on things I should. I also have the blessing of my spiritual father.
@@harrietharlow9929 It’s just weird to hear a Christian wearing a Muslim clothing and having blessings from their spiritual father, do you at least behave modestly as well?
All the Muslim women look the same no matter if 80 years old or 16 years as they are forced by theirs men to wear Black ⛺ in fear of if they don't cover from head to toe they will run off with some potent men.
Thats not true, also its haram and we don't always wear black all the time smh learn more about Islam.
@@user-xn5ez3lz9dnot entirely but u must wear it so that muslim men recognise u as muslim and don't harass u as per the quran

keeps honest people honest...even a small, handheld wire cutter can defeat this
Nope, not even close. It’s not normal wire. Have used mine for international travel through out Latin America. Beer broken into, although some have tried.
@gregorysalazar8370 Really ? in a hostel people tried stealing ??
99% of robberies are opportunistic. I had a camera stolen from my bag on the last day of living in a pub in London, with other backpackers for 3 months. Even so-called friends will steal !!
@@gregorysalazar8370 So my experience using one while backpacking in Europe and having it cut is not valid? lol
I love what it does just not really crazy about the design. A pull over cut resistant bag/sleeve that can be locked would be great.

Hi! What's the bag brand/model?
Niqab is now criticized in Egypt, no one likes people wearing them and they have been proven to not have to do with religion
It should still be a woman's choice.
@@Hiwa_Nuri_Maulud but how do you know it's a bad name their are millions of Lucifers and not all are bad people
can it be on a carry on at the airport??
Do you wish to fill a bag protector and take the gestalt as carry on? Or are you wanting to take an empty bag protector on the plane? In the case of the former, it would depend on if the underlying bag, or contents, fit the specified carry on dimensions specified by the airline. If you are wanting to merely take the packed and folded bag protector on a plane I see no reason why this couldn't be possible. There are no sharp points to it.

Do they have it for suitcase as well?
You can use this for a suitcase as well, just check the dimensions before you buy - they have a 55 liter and a 120 liter version. A normal carry-on bag is around 40 liters.
the lock is a piece of shit...change it...and you have a good system!
Trying to understand this. It has a steel cable but the lock is merely through plastic that could be crushed? Thanks!
The lock is really sturdy!!!
(you can of course use a different lock if you prefer) :-)
the plastic surrounds a steel core, stops casual theft , but if they have an angle grinder or bolt cutters , .....
@@technifish123 None of that is necessary. The big gap at the back of the bag can be cut into easily with a pocket knife or multi tools serrated blade, it bypasses the steel mesh and will allow you to gain access to the whole bag in a very short period of time. The only real practical use for this mesh is for attaching a bag to a table while you are eating or attach to a bench while doing photography etc nearby. It is also useful if you have a single room on a trip as you cannot gain access to the bag without causing serious damage. Which prevents low impact dipping by staff. They won't damage your luggage to gain access as it would blow back on them. If the bag is left unattended for more than a couple of mins out of sight of people. It's open to a cutting attack. It might also be useful to use this mesh while wearing the bag in crowded places as it would act as a deterrent from people trying to dip or cut the bag from behind. Though I expect it would be bag dependant as it would probably be uncomfortable to wear with it fitted.
@@thegeneral123>> Hi, sorry, have to reply to this, There is no BIG gap at the back. When you buy the Correct size for your luggage! It pulls tight like a trawler net. The you-tube'er above used a ruck too big , or a packsafe too small... that is all. cheers.
I love it when you say but When I want to speak to my friend hahaha my Allah guide u to the right path as all our brother and sisters non Muslims others faiths. and award that men paradise if his trying to help u on that It gonna be dream come thrue for me to wear it that way.specially when ur most of the time at work or university. Cause people's should know why some Muslims women dress like that And also my question is why it's ok for Christian religious sisters to cover & if your in Egypt u will see that if you stop buy Christian community like asaeed or the Nans cover all them body following mother Marry the sain virgin may Allah award her paradise also the dguges religious women's covers cause it's mandatory in them religion but they choose to shave and to wear weag. Why cause the creater of all faiths and creations is the same .Allah.may his majesty purify our heart souls and minds this coming Ramadan and forever.ameeen.

Such a rejection of the beauty of the female gender. These females not only have the sharia and their men against them, the hot weather also teams in to punish them.
Muslim women dont exist to please men sorry!
Try again
They dont reject beauty. It's about observing modesty when they leave the house or in front of men who are not their family. Muslim women dress up in private.
Your whole statement was a lie. Ignorance at it’s finest.
U deny it because u have been conditioned to feel secure in the cosiness of a lot of clothing over centuries of men's imposing on women to hide their bodies from the sight of other men who are not their husbands. These women say it is not so to try to revoke public opinion about the truth, but go back to history and u know that in the old days, men have no qualms about abducting women and to help defuse some of the hot, unwelcome abductions, women are told to hide their womanhood regardless of whether they are beautiful or plain, as long as they have a vagina, the lusty men will stop at nothing. Do not try to pretend, women, men want vaginas, period.

I wear only hijab but niquab is beautiful *-*
Unfortunately, there is a possibility to open it. It's easy to damage that included lock. After changing the lock to a better one (with guards and safe mechanism inside), it is a really good pack protector. I recommend pacsafe to everyone. Cheers
My idea was to use locks with siren in them (siren sounds on moving it)
5 years later.. yeah with a wire cutter it’s easy to open it But the chance is low the person visit your room has this with them. Its just extra protection. And this gaves me also a better feeling. Im looking for same. But also looking in the size. I have now a 30liters backpack and I wants to protect my laptop macbook and other things when im leaving the apartment or hotel in Asian country as a foreigner. Than the laptop is hidden and with bad luck some cleaners steal it. Thats a possibility and who knows it other situations it just feel better. But its not made for the real thieves. I also more advise a 4 digit number lock on it and keyless and to put the leftover steel cable more around the bag the middle side opening and than lock it on something strong.
Women fighting for rites too be oppressed
I have some questions about niqab. Let's suppose that you want to meet someone outside. How do they spot you? Don't you breathe the same air so it gets hot? If it's Black doesn't it make your head overheat? Can you wear an abaya and no other clothes under it? If you work as a doctor for example and you all wear the same color coverings how do they know which doctor you are so they can call you?
@Sister Amirah I mean even if I'm searching for someone in the square it's difficult to find them so if everyone covered their face I'd have trouble. Maybe it's just a matter of habit 😅
You' ve done the niqab test in extreme conditions, ( heat), - logical that your " judgment" turned out negative.
