@RodrygoEditz0 Normally a timing issue, try flick the stick an extra time or a few times to make sure your keeper dives. That's what helped me when I had the same issue

I've been playing goalkeeper for a very long time, I have a pretty good level but I don't have at all the same animations as your orders.

Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been playing recently, I pretty much never use LB, I always use LT and manually position myself but LT doesn't actually do anything, it's just a comfort thing and habit from playing CB

@zIGxdEU- Preferably I would use footwork over far reach but it just doesn't ever seem to work for me, if you rush out a lot then it might be good

@zIGxdEU- Honestly whichever you want, I don't think it makes much difference as a goalkeeper. Just don't put level 3 goalkeeper ones on since it costs way more than level 2 and you don't get anything extra

@Grande1999 Thankyou! The only method to fix it seems to be to flick the stick a few extra times when you dive but obviously it's not always ideal to do that

@kubachwiedz2399 I wish I could tell you, i think having momentum does help though. I just position myself manually and dive at the right time. Timing the dive is definitely important. However there are plenty of times where my character also feels slow to dive/react. 95% of saves won't be a crazy diving save, you're just seeing the 5% 😊

Might be a timing issue, like flicking the stick too late or too early that it doesn't register? How's your connection, maybe bad ping? It can definitely be a bit slow to react sometimes regardless though

@semtempoprapensar Normally flick it, sometimes flick it multiple times too as it's the only say I have found to avoid having your goalkeeper not dive when you tell him to

@semtempoprapensar Normally as they are taking the shot, when they are making contact with the ball or judt before that but there are times where you can dive after like for some long shots 😊

@@SubparSkill I think my R3 is not responsible in this game. It looks like my GK only make normal or “bot” saves. I dont know what to do

I Haven't tried career mode yet this year, I will have to give it a try. It's normally pretty boring and full of bugs though. Semi assist is fine honestly, people overhype manual a lot, it's not really any better in my opinion

@@SubparSkillcareer mode for goalie is much better this year. No sub off anymore for match rating or conceding and the customizable ai behavior sliders are great. I get at least 7-8 shots minimum on me per game. Most shots I had on me was 17

@MichaelThornton2 Oh that's great, the sub off thing was too annoying for me, do your team score often? I always find it hard to get a mix of my team getting goals and the other team shooting at me. Where do I find good sliders?

@@SubparSkill yeah. I play for huddlesfield town first season. We are top 4 in goals scored with one player at the top of the scorers table. I experimented with my sliders myself. I seemed to have the best luck by only moving line width and length to 54 and the run frequency up to about 60-70 with the regular sliders and the ai play style for me is putting the dribbling, shot frequency both to 65 and play on world class with those. Been having a blast. Good starting idea for you to experiment with.

It was a problem last year too, I haven't had it much this year but I'm in the habit of flicking the stick a couple extra times when I want to dive so that may be why

@leonwulff8017 Oh that makes more sense haha, it literally just comes from playing goalkeeper a lot, you start to learn where people want to shoot in different situations, plus sometimes if you position yourself well you can make them commit to shooting to the side you want them to shoot. The more you play the easier it becomes to read the play 😊

@leonwulff8017 If you're just starting out you can use auto position but as you get more comfortable you'll want to slowly use it less and less, I pretty much never use it now but it can take a while to get used to positioning yourself manually so don't rush it 👍

@truecraft1 Last fifa it was much more effective to stay back, this year I need to test it a bit more to be fair. Game feels pretty different so will take some time to figure out what's best
