I lived in Willesden from 2014 to 2019. So many great memories😢

Harlesden was my home from 1989 till 2007 and I have fond memories, love the place and the people.....NW10 is a special place despite poverty and crime the people and culture is rich with vibes.

Ahhh Croydon, London’s blackest and most violent high crime borough.. A complete coincidence I’m sure..

Thank you for this. It's a fascinating view along an area I know well. I've lived in Cricklewood (next town centre up to the north, for anyone following from elsewhere) most of my life since 1971. I am not fond of it, neither Cricklewood nor Kilburn. There have been many changes in the time I've known it, not least the pubs. They've gone upmarket for the most part, which is not a bad thing.

I lived in Maida Vale rode my bike to work at Sainsburies Kilburn migrated to Australia in 1981 best decision I ever made. London has gone to the dogs,

It used to be very nice place but since the blacks moved here its only getting worse and worse

How times change, 20 years ago the shops would have be fined for all those signs out on the pavement reducing the walkways. More concern was given for blind people then.

I’m old. I remember when England was English. All gone now.

I grew up their now im in Blackpool i really miss this place the people and friends ..... wish my parents never moved us

Harlesden Girl born & bred.. From a Irish family who settled there many years ago.... From home been at No.12 High Street, then moved down to Craven Park for a little while & then my hard working parents bought their first house just off Tavistock Road (Happy Days) Schooled at Convent of Jesus & Mary. First Saturday job at then Woolworths on the High Street (Think it's Peacocks now). We loved our area back in the day, so much fun and fabulous memories. Thank you for putting a big smile on my face this morning.

It looks much better than I remember in the early 1990's. You would have heard gun shots after 10 mins in those days.

Another great video opposite Camden train station was woolworth and next door a shoe shop called true form me and my friend worked there on a Saturday mornings. I then went on to own a stall in camden lock. And Saturday nights go to peaches in camden place to go raving.

I grew up there went to Calton primary school my brothers worked in Frank's I used to go to that library as a child. I even used to drink in the Robert peel it's not a market anymore I know shops and times change but it's not the same I used to live in herbert street. Glad I moved away ps I even went to school with Dawn Gibson lol.

Once the Irish worked and lived there now we just own it and let the Eastern European peoples work and live on our plot, while paddy’s watches from Ireland 🇮🇪.

I live at homedale House brunswick Road in the 80s . Great memories and good mates that i had. Attended westbourne and greenshaw. Miss it 😪

Another dump. How can people sit outside cafes with rubbish all around them?

32-34 years ago i used go to Kilburn to get a wages cheque changed,get something to eat and have a few drinks with friends..The Colepits,McGoverns etc were lively then..Crown in Cricklewood,The Galtee and the National ..all were gone when I briefly visited in 2009..i was sorry i did..should have left the old memories alone..same with Harlesden,Willesden and Neasden..different people and places now..the old town ain't the same..enjoyed your walk..saw a few things i recognised though sadly a lot has changed
