I dont see how there are so many good reviews. You say your going to show what you did but instead just jump to the finished product and don't explain or show any useful information
Oh and on that connector, the one with the steering wheel control. If you take a 68ohm resistor and connect it to pins 9 & 10 the top screen will work. I pulled the stock radio and installed a double din Pioneer.
On the PAC unit you just connected the white wire on the pac to the white line (pin 8). The instructions said to connect wire 8 to pin 7 with a 560ohm resistor. But on yours you just went white to white and have controls?
I like the stealth. But how easy is it to read the screen of the radio..? I didn't hear which Pioneer model number (I found it later in your posting below) and like most other videos here, I'm not seeing the most complicated part is setting up all the splices into the 20pin. Options. . It's all before and after. ☹️
Oops! I noticed I got dyslexic with a couple of the clips when talking about the 20-pin connector. Sorry about that. Bottom line, leave the connector in and splice into the back of it. Also, here's what I purchased to do this: 1) Pioneer MVHX560BT Digital Media Receiver 2) PAC SWI-RC 3) PAC SNI-1/3.5 4) Panavise InDash Custom Mount 751371804 for 2004-2008 Toyota Prius
Great video haha posted just in time actually, I got a Pioneer unit with the PAC SWI-RC and didn't understand the white wire needed to be spliced into the existing one! Thanks for mentioning that!
do you know waht harness you got for the 2 conectors i dont know which one i should get?

Stephen Hawkey do you have any link how did you installed that resistor?

I have a 2007 Lexus is250. the PAC directions are similar if not identical to yours. im assuming i dont need the capacitor either?
Very helpful video, thanks for posting. Would have been exceptional if you actually showed yourself disassembling the dash and splicing the wires!
Best video I've seen on installing this thing!
Thanks for the video. Of all the videos yours is the only one that mentions and shows where the white wire goes.
Cool
Good video but I was just distracted because you kind of sound like Kiefer Sutherland haha

SkimShades117 No problem, Skim! I didn't quite get the documentation either so I'm glad the video helped. Loving the retrofit BT!
