followed this step by step like 10 times and still won’t work every single step goes good but then i open msfs and the plane isn’t there

I have a problem where the thing I downloaded didn’t show up in msfs and so when I check my content manager they’re there but when I select them, the install button doesn’t show up even when I select all. Do you know why?

Hey! For some reason only one mod about of all mods I have tried have worked. it was the g720 -aircraft-bombardier-global6000. I did notice that it had 2 more folders in the addon folder that the rest of them didn't have. it had a folder named contentinfo and a folder named html_ui. i will guess that these are apparently important. but all I did was download and extract the other mods and the folders weren't there. Also, in debug mode it shows the packages as registered | mounted and if I go into content manager they are there just they don't have a picture and the working one does. Any help would be great!!

Too many aircrafts have no category or are in the wrong one. Ok, it is not easy to follow every kind of release but there is the need of someone who knows well the world of real aviation. There is a lot of confusion by now.

Wow - was there any point to this, really? I do, however, feel superspud was rightly named (thankfully Horizon Simulations don't do freeware scenery, eh?).

I completely have to disagree. 2023 was the most "calm" and somehow "boring" year concerning addons for the MSFS. Think of all the more than one year delayed payware (examples: PMDG 777, Aerosoft A330) and no really big, exciting game changing sim updates. Fully understandable, btw.! Asobo works on the 2024 version with a lot of improvements, so no big fish anymore for the 2020 version. And addons themselves don't grow on trees and they are not ready within a few months after their announcement. They really need a few years (and the freeware/by the community addons even longer, of course) - I really don't criticize the facts, but want to state them clearly! And as the payed market felt a little stuck last year, the mod section was, too. And that's explainable also: We already have every livery for every addon shortly after release, there already are sceneries and improvements for all common and wellknown spots on earth (that are also worked on continuously). To prove the "boredom" of addons/mods, three examples of award winners '23: _ First of all the "Best Aircraft Modification". A mod to make a payware CEO more usable..? Did anyone hear about the Fenix A320 CEO? I mean, if you can have certified Airbus software in your sim for less than 50,-€ - why should you buy a 30,-€ A320 and improve it a little bit with a mod? Or are the flightsimTO users all XBox players that can't use the Fenix..? I don't think so... - A simbrief panel wins the utility award. Nice work for sure - but nearly every addon aircraft has an EFB with simbrief data/screens. And concerning that even a Streamdeck Profile wins an award, I doubt that more people have a streamdeck than a second screen to use Simbrief on. The last utitlity I would ever need, is an extra Simbrief panel, not even for VR flying. - All the Horizon 787 stuff gets awards over awards. The 787-9 may be a nice aircraft, but as far as I know, you still need the Premium Deluxe Version of MSFS for the basic model. It's not "standalone" and it's not freeware you simply add free awardwinning mods to. Theese examples show, that there wasn't exceptional "creativity and innovation" 2023. Passion, I won't deny. RMK: The only mod of the winners, I use and really applaud to, is "We love VFR" by PuffinFlight. The whole series is fantastic, and I'm happy they are honored with an award for that.

While I am sure that Horizon Simulations is deserving of its awards, I am surprised that you didn't limit them to a certain category. There are so many more aircraft on your site that are also deserving of the spotlight (And do not require a 120$ investment to access... not sure how it is "standalone" but that is besides the point). Considering this is the first award "ceremony", I don't get why you limited the selection to those only released this year. There are many great aircraft and scenery that have been around since the founding of your site that have been updated continually over the years. Also, disappointed that you used an AI narrator - for a site trying to brand itself as a serious competitor to other large flight sim distributors, not the best look. I do understand that this is your first year running this, hope to see an improvement for next year.
