Bickershaw Country Park & Pennington Flash
I wanted to head to Bickershaw Country Park as I was told that Birds of Prey like to hang around in the trees, it was around 8 miles the walk I had planned and I will for sure head back there.

RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, my local green space.

I decided to visit my local green space to take part in the RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch, this is a way of tracking and seeing what birds are around the local areas. RSPB Conwy to end 2024.

A few of us spent NYE in Wales so I wanted to visit RSPB Conwy on the way there, Luckily the sun was shining however the wind was really strong and I didn't have much time left for the light. I will for sure head back here for Spring Summer. Very friendly staff as always and some birds I haven't photographed yet.
Leighton Moss on Christmas Eve

I was passing Leighton Moss on my way to my Christmas Day location, I had read that some Northern Pintails were there and had to capture them as it was a new bird for me. The morning happened to be very foggy and not the best visibility.
Taking photos of the UK's smallest bird is not easy!

The Goldcrest, the UK's smallest birds are very cautious birds that like to stay in cover and move very quick, however it was super fun trying to capture them on camera. Hopefully will try and get video of them soon!

Pennington Flash, what I saw on a very rainy day.

Pennington Flash is a great place to visit if you want to photograph all types of birds, you have many aquatic birds and also lots of songbirds. Unfortunately did not capture the Kingfishers but I did see them a couple of times. The weather was not great, however it did mean not many people were around, lots of birds were spotted and also my first time seeing an Oystercatcher. rob...
