Am i the only one who can never follow these radio conversations with towers. So much unclear audio and filled with constant lingo. Zulu, Foxtrod, Tango?? What does mr Zulu have to do with anything. I’m trying to takeoff here 😂 Great video anyway. A shame the girls only looked out of the window 1% of the time. Just being kids. But they have this video as proof of a great dad trying to show them amazing new things.

Landing and radio communications already takes an insane amount of concentration, I’m still trying to perfect it. Landing and handling communications with excited kids in the back is in a different league. You are an inspiration to us all!

my kids were a bit older (10-11)when I took them on their first flight in a GA aircraft (in my case it was a 172G). They still talk about that day and bring up the photo much more than a decade later. One of the coolest days being a dad I ever had.

I would mute the kids on my earphones.
