Yeah it's so nice that wilds HH has 4 moves that can queue multiple notes during the animation. It's gonna take some time to properly learn to input the right notes you want without messing up with a different note.

@@Zamoxino LMAO 🤣. Honestly, I'm not into the whole making reaction vids trend. Where there are so many out there reacting the same way every trailer release. And plans on Wilds HH content. I will eventually get into it when the demo comes out. But, from what I have seem. It seems to be that it's going to be base MHWorld style (swing punishments for small-mid openings then for big openings, encore combos) while having echo bubbles always active for extra shockwave tick damage and focus mode strike for rapid restock on melodies into queue for encore combos. Still pretty sad that they remove echo attack, RIP spin to win Unga bunga. T_T

@@Digerlee yeee im mixed about the spin. it was very cool looking attack but it also felt like braindead gameplay combined with mantles. but hey... MAYBE it will be back as special song attack just like the counter thing and it will have a lot higher damage and stun build up... that would be kinda cool. also it seems like u can fast queue melodies with bubble dance so focus does not even look that crazy :thonk: any opinions on pocket 2nd weapon hh for buffs?

@@Zamoxino The pocket HH topic. It's a bit early to say because IDK if they are gonna change the melody duration to see if it can work or not for the playstyle. Also depending in how long the hunt is going take, for hunter to slay/cap the monster adds extra management to keep track on. And in the same time. I feel like in reality, people are gonna be too lazy to go through the hassle on learning HH effectually. To end up just sticking to what they like to use the best for them. So yeah, it will be alot of users at start but it will die down fast later on because how complicated it is to master HH or the hunter is skilled enough to not have to worry about HH buffing themselves.

@@Digerlee when ruri asked devs about this it seems like it will stay how it is... i feel like shorter songs could work as a fix cause with bubble ground u deal a lot of damage while playing the songs so keeping the uptime should not be that cancerous... also it seems like it wont eat your songs anymore when u will get hit while playing them... (unless u are doing encore? not sure about that) i personally have my eyes open cause i want to mix up more support into my builds and DB wide range with HH swap for buffs sounds pretty fking good. b4 double weapon tech got revealed i was thinking about maining HH this time but i guess i wont have to xD. also there is some tech that works pretty good with "corner horning" just for buffs... so i feel like it will depend if some popular streamer will make it well known or not... or the tech will get deleted after demo... for solo play yea i also think ppl will be too lazy to corner play songs

Thx mate, ye sadly HH is like one of bottom 3 weapons with lowest damage output. But I am glad that in Wilds, they are buffing the swing speed, combos, and kit to improve the weapon potential. Hope we have a blast on whenever MHWilds releases. :D

It's a skill called safe landing. It allows you to quickly recover from heavy attacks that blow you back when you have your weapon unsheathed.

I only saw visual mods to change the color of nergigante and the hunting horn. This guy is just that good and has memorized the monster's attack to perfection. I know because I do the same since nergi is my favorite monster.
