On one hand, Eva was doomed from the start. She decided before the game began that everyone was against her, told lies that created that very hostility, and was more than ready to sacrifice anyone who showed the slightest sympathy because she thought the world owed her everything. No one could have saved her, fated to die to her self-fulfilling prophecy. But on the other hand, Diana hasn't learned anything. Kindness, friendliness, politeness: those are all empty platitudes unless you act upon them. Diana may have offered friendship on her own, but she did nothing to pull Eva out of her own head or defend Eva against public opinion. In the same way she couldn't get in the water and pull Wolfgang to safety, Diana only extended the invitation of friendship to Eva; she never fought for that friendship. So it's no wonder why her vow upsets Damon so much at the end. Diana's trying to emulate Wolfgang's pep talk, but his speech came after he proved himself capable of defending and leading others. Diana, on the other hand, couldn't even defend herself until Damon stepped in, yet she proceeds to act like the mere desire to improve and take on Wolfgang's role is enough. She's taking the wrong lessons from the trial and preparing to repeat her (and Wolfgang's) mistakes. Seriously, there's so much depth to the EG crew. I'm so excited to see how everyone develops!

ok, not going to lie, Eva really had it coming, and I couldn't feel all too bad, hiding her talent to seem tough and be respected I get that, but trying to murder someone because it would obviously be you and that person treated you badly is a bit extreme, but the most egregious thing of all was framing Diana because "she deserved it", look, I get not knowing kindness because of never receiving it, but to say she deserves it and kill all 15 students is insane, and don't think I didn't forget that victim and superiority complex (merging to make a main character complex)and there's also what she said after, because she was still on Wolfgang's side, she deserved it, that's true pettiness, and that's not even accounting all of her talks with Damon, was he not kind to her, not only was he specifically on her side but was kind and trusted her enough to give Wolfgang's secret, and it's not like Eva didn't understand that, she said that he's the only person she trusted and he even made her smile, let's not forget that entire talk, she not only completely through him under the bus with Wolfgang's secret to frame him(for the second time) and also was willing to kill him because she was going to be the first target and no one would care, I wouldn't be surprised if Tozu worded it as, something bad will happen if you don't kill like a random punishment that effective wouldn't mean death as Tozu never mentioned the period of days and she never bothered asking which doesn't add up if she went to him again to confirm if breaking equipment was allowed, she's a very well written character but she's not one that makes me feel sad or sorry for her post trial, it's really hard to see her as a good person post trial now, still a good character none the less(and a good fraud too)
