I've been doing this manually for years and this is an amazing technique. You can save a separate file with these inputs and merge them every time on a new project. Thanks!
Thank you! Actually you can use this kind of a setup as a startup screen for any of your projects.
Complex manipulations. You just need to combine the sun's target with the camera. And the camera's target is with the sun. Highlight the camera's target and the sun and raise it to the sun on the map.
Thanks
Grazie mille, Tutorial utilissimo!
@@nonwo2752 Test > VIEWPORT CONFIGURATION > BACKGROUND CHECK BOX >USE ENVIROMENT BACKGROUND Sure the HDRI appears in viewport. CHEERS.
@@arturosanchez9504 Grazie!
I may be missing something but do not understand why make enviroment map (via key 8) and dome light with the same map. They duplicate each other. For linking only?
Environment map to see the hdri map in the scene; dome light to use the same hdri map as the light source. Not for linking.
@@aryacadbim5789 ok, thanks
You simply mislead people. Things are much simpler
Really? Why don't you let us know those simpler things?

Love it. Thank you for the tutorial. It is detailed and accurate! I am thinking about making and saving with a bunch of HDRI. Waiting for the next tut:)
thank you, i am glad you liked it.
So complex and unnecessary... There is a "Lock texture to icon" checkbox in Vray light parameters, and just use a high quality HDRI like these in Chaos Cosmos Library. Usually in architectural renderings you need to adjust sun position angle, because drop shadows matters.
No, it is not like you said.
Nice Explain ! Good job <3
Hello, I'm practicing HDRI recently, and in other videos, it looks strange because the automatic translation is wrong when I turn it on with a human voice, but this video has a machine-like voice. If you turn on automatic translation, automatic translation works well, so it's easy to watch. Please understand the awkwardness because I translated the language by Google Translator because I can't speak English. I will subscribe to this video and study it as a reference. :)
I hope it will be helpfull for you.
This tutorial is underrated!!
Glad you like it!
Thank so much... Very good
Glad you like it!
Very beautiful voice and tutorial.
Thank you!
haha it’s text to speech
@@MrMadvillan so what?
I’m m sorry I have problem with that I do the same and it works expect the last step after link the dome with the hdri texture the texture change it’s rotation by it self And the sun it doesn’t more located in the sun in the hdri can i email you with a short video to show you the problem??
send your email and I'll try to check it when i have time to do that. aryacadbim@gmail.com
Did you find a solution ? I have the same problem
this tutorial helps me a lot. thank you so much . love you
Thank you!
@@aryacadbim5789 one more thing.horizontal rotation is clear of the hdri sun.in my hdri map the hdri sun is at the top of head i need to vertically rotate to take the sun down so that sun rays can cross through the window with different angle .could you please guide me to do that??
@@kubelhossain4211 You should not change the vertical rotation, it will create problems with your hdri environment. Try to use a different map with the sun located not at the top of the hemisphere. Think about your shadows also. If your sun is at the top, what will your shadows be like?
@@aryacadbim5789 Thanks a lot for the direction Ma'am
This is BY FAR the best V-ray Sun & HDRI setup tutorial I've seen so far... And I've seen plenty of them... Thank you so much for sharing, I really appreciate it!
Thank you! I'm glad you like it!
Really very nice Tutorial Ma'am.
Thanks.
Good tutorial, thank you.
You are welcome!
Thank you for this great tutorial. It is very informative.
Glad it was helpful!
Great - thanks for the tutorial - coming from AutoSketch I am so used to using its shortcut keys. How do you display the separate tool ribbons on the left or around the edges of the screen and can you customisze them?
Thank you Ian. Those are called the toolbars. You can access them under the tools dropdown menu, activate or deactivate any of them just by clicking and yes you can customize them as you wish. You can also create your own toolbars consisting of your own commands.
