Hi just one question: when I connect a guitar never happens that I see the led "clip". I gotta play all string in order to see the led "sig". Does it happen to you too?
at 100% i get clip very easily with even 1 string. I strum all strings hard and turn down just little further than the point at which it is still clipping which is about 75-80% (kind of pointing toward the middle of the letter A in "midas" on the case) - seems to work well for my guitar. I guess it depends on the pickups in your guitar. Mine is a squier strat HSS with passive pickups. I was testing with the neck pickup which is a single coil. Have you tried looking at the waveform on your computer for example in audacity. It might give you a more visual idea of your signal strength.
@@AdamCheong thanks for the answer, you're really gentle. Anyway it can depend by the driver maby, I use the bheringer driver since with asio4all does not work. Is it the same for you?
@@Dr.UchihaMD actually I couldn't get the berhringer drivers (BEHRINGER_2902_X64_2.8.40) to install on my windows 10 x64. I think they are not supported anymore anyway. Asio4all does work for me in conjunction with the windows10 plug and play drivers but I actually prefer WASAPI exclusive mode (in amplitube) it feels like zero latency but my second favorite is to just use the default windows 10 driver "USB Audio CODEC" with bias fx2 in the normal "windows audio" non exclusive mode with buffer of 144 samples - there is some slight latency but still very playable and I can then record "desktop audio" in OBS with another audio source playing at the same time. Regarding the signal and clipping lights I would assume that would be purely a hardware thing but i'm not 100% sure about that :)
super videos as usual :P
thanks for the support ;)
