Can I purchase a custom intake from you that thing is SWEET ! I built a Dart block 572 with a Serpentine belt system so it should be very similar ?
I dont think so
Why no heater or am I missin somethin
We ditched the big heater for a small under dash unit.
Bondo can do wonders when it come to makin that CHINA shit fit
Sure can. Grinding, welding,& filler can make anything fit haha!
I think my vacuum gauge is broken, it doesnt wanna turn on or something. I cant get it to start sucking. What am i doing wrong??
Sometimes , a man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do.
Ain’t that the truth
If I was a dick I would say WHY THE HELL ARE YOU FIXING A 76 CUTLASS? But I’m not that guy. Each to there own.
You could try running a tig torch super cold and overlap tacks. It also may not be a weldable grade of aluminum
We tried that and all that it did was pull a ton of junk out of the aluminum and make a huge mess. We are guessing it’s not a weldable grade
There is a product called "alumni-weld" i came across it trying to weld anodized aluminum bulk head fittings to air conditioner lines.. you need a good tourch but its worth the try ... Good luck
Good to know thank you!
Wire feed might work
This is true. We have been kicking around the idea of buying a spool gun.
What grade of aluminum. Some grades aren't weldable
It does not state what grade it is. That should have been are first clue.
Good point . No just old cars any car have lines.
What about the front suspension
We installed that too. It’s in the last half of the video. It works really well.
So, my 65 had truck arm suspension. How much meat ya able to get under YOUR truck?
We run a 10 wide out back and that’s about the limit because of fender well width.
I see, Ohio
Oh maaaan you had a 454 in it???
Sure did. It was a borrowed engine from a buddy.
Where are you at
We are in the Tiffin area
I’m doing a 65 and I’m hoping for awesome steering and performance
Pretty work!!! 👊🤘
Thank you!
Yep....HOW it's DONE, fer REAL!....New subbed....On the road to be a real kewl Mopar! TRI-5 Chevy, Chevelle/El Camino guy here , and yeah! Burnt out ol school body/paint guy, as well..Lol..ROCK the funk ON
Hell yeah dude!
Great video
Thank you!
l use a whole can of aerosol carbuerator cleaner per job to really get my equipt. cleaned up..
l use a half gallon Harbor Freight paint pot for 44 bux!..l use enamel ,not fancy 250 dollar a gallon paint,,,FROM ORSHELNS or any farm store...he uses the same cheap farm paint l use,EXCEPT MINE IS SO THICK IN THE CAN ,MINE WILL GO TWICE AS FAR!...ALKYD is what hes talking about....l wouldnt spend that 200 bux and END UP WITH LESS MATERIAL!...what l use is SO THICK IN THE CAN you can feel how it doesnt hardly move when you shake the can..As for hardener, mine id 16 dollars for half a pint....hardens one gallon....
i hope thats not your ol man on the roof while your dicken around
Haha sure is. Can’t stop the old man. He just keeps on moving
Great video. Question how did you het the kit for a nine inch rear end? TY😊
What kinds of rims are those on your truck? Nice video!
Those tabs fold over the inner door seal lip
So you got your paint line, hardener line and reducer line. What’s the fourth column? I’m not a painter.
Normally not use. But sometimes you may use a fisheye eliminator or a flex additive.
The must be a professional painter with the types of pro tips
Super extra professional pro profession
Wow🎉 u explain this so well I don’t know how anyone else couldn’t figure that out we must all be idiots
You would be surprised
Thank you sir
You’re welcome. I hope it helps
What’s the ratio you mix the sher kem primer? I know you’ve said 33% but could you show us where you take it to on a cup? Thanks
Sure thing tune in tomorrow. I’ll make a video on that
@@CovertsShop thank you sir, really enjoyed the super c videos. Currently taking apart my Farmall 200 going to try that Sher Kem you used
@@Quigley248thank you! I think you’re going to like the Sher-kem
Not all files have a safe Edge it's actually rare to even find one with a safe Edge
It's a no cut side. You are filling incorrectly. You push then lift to push again. Pulling the file back rolls the edge back dulling the cutting side.
Someone on UA-cam tested that and the difference between lifting and not was extremely minimal, are you correct yes, does it matter for most people, no
Thanks dude! 😎
@@andrewlaclair9955 I served a Tool and Die apprenticeship. Working on 200 yr old Nottingham lace looms. As such it was all hand crafted machine parts. You keep your files sharp by chalking before use and never drag them backwards. A good file can last months with carding them.
The old know-it-all
Figured I should tell you that you're wrong just to prove you right
Haha! I appreciate that.
I thought roto-broaches were what cut square and hex holes in steel. Those look like carbide hole saws. You could also also try anular cutters if you have a mill or mag drill.
They might be. I was just reading the label on the box hahaha
When I get files without it, I grind one in there
Not all files have this but when they do they are handy for those types of applications
never seen one on my files
That's right !
Super! Thank you!
Appreciate the info👍
You are welcome!
I swear by my HMD904, cleanest holes I can get without a CNC. But upfront cost is high and the bits are expensive too (they do last a loooong time tho if you take care of them). This kit looks like it’d be great for sheet metal thanks for sharing!
A tool that makes life easier is almost always worth the money spent. Tools are awesome 😎
If you want quality. Get Noga carbide ones.
Those things will slice the HELL out of your finger's too. I was deburing a spacer, slipped and ran it into my middle finger. Right down to the bone.
That sounds horrible my friend 😣
@@CovertsShop It was not fun! On the bright side, It was a nice clean cut, so it healed quickly.
Yep thats šábl
That isn’t for debuting but can be used for it’s a hand chamfer tool to create a chamfer on parts
We call it and use it for a deburring tool around these parts
They are for deburring...
Make sure to get a right or left handed blade based on your dominant hand. They only work well in one direction unless you buy the ambidextrous blades
That's a plumbing tool, it's used for just that but at the end of a copper pipe
It's not a plumbing tool.... it is used in all sorts of trades. I'm a machinist, this is always on the bench next to where I'm working.
Dude fuck you stop giving me PTSD... I have had to use these many times
I love using them but I hate how they jump and create choppy chamfers. I use them for 3D printing.
You are going in the wrong direction. Try going the other way with the blade or get an ambidextrous blade. Cuts plastic like butter and smooth when used correctly
If its jumpy, choppy, or digs in, you're using it wrong. Go the other direction, lower pressure, and maybe change the angle of the blade if you still experience issues.
