Watching VERY late (or maybe 'after the fact' as is said), but loved it. I was thinking about purchasing some 12 x 12 chipboard and drew a brain-blank on how the get the most 5 x 7 pieces from it. LOL. After watching your video, I gave myself a "duh - totally makes since... 5 + 7 = 12. LOL Then I Subscribed to your UA-cam channel, and can't wait to see more. I WAS ABOUT TO THROW MY BRAND NEW GEMINI IN THE RIVER, I NEVER GOT MY MANUFACTURE'S SANDWICH TO WORK PROPERLY. I SEARCHED AND SEARCHED FINALLY FOUND THE ABSOLUTE BEST SANDWICH FOR MY GEMINI AND ALL OF MY DIES INCLUDING ANNA GRIFFIN. DUE TO THE GIVE/TAKE OF THE MAGIC MATS, IT CUTS AND EMBOSS AT THE SAME TIME. SANDWICH: BOTTOM PLATE, (1ST) MAGIC MAT, DIE AND PAPER, (2ND) MAGIC MAT. THERE'S NO BUYING NEW PLATES DUE TO SCRATCHES AND WARPING, JUST AN OCCASIONAL HEATING OF THE MAGIC MATS TO FLATTEN AND REMOVE SCRATCHES.

I don’t know why CC won’t Include INSTRUCTIONS in their boxes. I’ve always wanted to make the stroller card but I don’t know how!!!

The easiest way to solve the embossing mat problem is to substitute an Anna Griffin embossing mat designed for use with the Empress. It's slightly longer and narrower than the Crafters Companion plates which doesn't affect anything. The Anna Griffin mat goes thru the Gemini easily but you do have to determine which plates used in the sandwich work best in your machine. This is because the Anna Griffin mat is a much more heavy duty thicker mat. The Anna Griffin dies do NOT slice the mat when run thru the Gemini.

I have had mine for 15 years. Paid $99.00 for it then. Absolutely love it won’t be with out it. Would definitely replace it if necessary.
