Nice video bro...can you please explain why did you buy the recovery hooks from Bimbra and why not from Swastik other than price point? Can you please explain the design difference in recovery hooks like you have explained the differences in the foot steps design? Also does the swastik one which goes into the chassis have a step design like BIMBRA or is it just a rockslider?

Is your a MT Jimny ? I believe Jimny MTs have this issue. I faced this too - however this happened while I was travelling in the Zanskar region. The Jimny completely stopped as the oil leakage had been going on without my knowledge. I was stranded in a no mobile network region. It took 3 days to get it out from there to Mandi. I kept asking them how it leaked but I was only met with silence. They charged me for all the parts too. The leakage led to the Clutch getting completely burnt out. While the cost of transporting the Jimny on a flatbed truck was huge, I was charged for parts that should have been covered under warranty like you have. They refused that. I finally picked up my vehicle from Competent Mandi Service Station after 3 wks. This was in July 23. Since this experience I know of a couple of other MT Jimnys that faced similar issue. I therefore posted on a couple of SM platforms that Maruti has no clue about this leakage and it was in the best interest of Jimny MT owners to keep checking this part. Your video has given so many ideas ! As I start to look around for an Isolator, would you by any chance know what type of alternator the Jimny has ? Smart/variable/standard alternator ? As different types of Isolators are required based on the type of alternator that's under the hood....

Really great and very well explained. I had done this setup before Covid at home but haven't made any videos. You should have installed a cut out switch for both batteries inside the cabin just in case of emergency, security or whenever you're parking your vehicle for a month or two. Moreover try to get a high ampere alternator to charge both the batteries. OEM alternator must be only 65amp you need to have atleast 120amp for quick charge from scratch. Good luck 🤞🏻

Wobble is inherent to jimny design and can never be permanently resolved. Every few thousand km or say with every oil change the king pin bearings need to be changed (and also rotors and brake pads if needed). This will solve it for the next few thousand kms. Cost includes 505x4 king pin + 2200x2 rotors + 3400 brake pads. Suzuki changing these in warranty is just to procastinate the problem for next 5-10k kms, not a permanent fix. So if one wants to maintain it driving like a new, one has to spend around 10k every 5-10k kms in addition to regular service and maintenance cost. There is a reason this vehicle is a flop and people aren't buying it. Spare parts are rarely available and difficult to procure due to poor sales and cost as much as Fortuner spare parts.

Apko bahar brake pad dalnese kuch Problem nahi hai but apko maruthi ka genuine dalwana hai varna apka brake disc par scoring aur deflection issue ayega

There is no need to change engine oil other than waste money. All new generation engines come already break in from factory. Manufacturers spend millions on R&D and if a simple oil change was required after 1st service, that would be made a requirement. My Jimny is doing excellent and serviced as per schedule and manual.
