@@clairequinn8665 Amaranth is a grain. You can dry it and make flour w it. I’ve been feeding it to my chickens. They love it 😍

My husband saves seeds from everything so right now there are papertowels with pepper seeds and tomato seeds all around. He is good at not remembering to write what they are. I am trying to keep up with what he is doing and try not to knock the pepper seeds off the paper towels. I bought some coin envelopes off Amazon and they are working nicely. I can put a lot of them in the photo storage boxes like what Jessica uses.

Do I need a gage. The canner I have doesn’t have one.
@@marthadueck6461 I’m not sure. My canner is a Presto canner with a pressure gauge. There are some that just have weights but I do not have experience using them. You can look your canner up online and find instructions for it. Hope this helps 😊

@@clairequinn8665 Hi Claire 😊 I save the whole flower. Once the bloom is withered I pick it and dry it completely on a clean kitchen towel. Once they are dry I store them in a paper lunch bag 😍

I love my dehydrators! I used to follow raintree, but I sort of stopped watching because I didn't like the way she responded to some comments. I love this idea. It is hard to know how much of the nutrients you have, but, there isn't anything there that would hurt you and mostly it is beneficial.
