Beginner fingerboarder here and im enjoying the G16 more than my other boards. Otherbthan how much it pops theb iggest thing i notice is thevheavier weight compared to most fingerboards. Still unsure if its a good or bad thing yet

Unhappy with most of my recent flat face purchases. I just got the G16 hand dyed one that he did and the deck I got looks nothing like all the photos on the site and his instagram. The whole bottom isn't even dyed and it's got a black mark on the wood. Looks like a blem. My G16 regular came in white and the bottom has black leaking from the holes. My G15 came chipped like. Very sad to see the quality drop. I think unless Mike hand makes them himself again and films himself doing so I'm done. I do think they are good decks. I liked the Goo LTD but in the end the Goo is small like 95mm. I like a bit longer. I'll keep using the old FF deck I got

Tryout/review a COWPLY deck please

i was on a 40mm thicc boi kick for a while but lately ive been really diggin my shortish, mellowish, 33.5mm 7-ply setups from Ditch Decks. I tend to like fun shapes and reshape decks a lot.

Very good information here! I enjoy trying different shapes and sizes just to see if they’ll distract me from my go-to BUT.. once you find that go-to setup.. it’s definitely hard to put down😂🤘🏽

Happy I was able to help with the video 🙌 (even if I was awkward haha). To anyone who was wondering, the setup I keep going back to was a BR Krom 33.3mm regular mold deck with 34mm BRTs and Maple ultra wheels. I’m getting another setup soon and still trying to figure out what deck to get.

it took me awhile but I now know exactly what I like. I like a thick feeling board with high kicks and low almost flat concave, around the 96mm length. which is Doubljoints high joint mold, Tp decks penny mold, and Moonbelly fingerboards. I will also use a deck with deep concave as long as it has high kicks.
