10/23/20 Maryland International Raceway Friday night Midnight Madness bracket race. Earlier in the day I ran the MSHS Bracket class and got 3rd place, then MIR hosted this bracket event later in the evening where I made it to the last 6 cars. One of the rounds I lined up against a nice guy in a Tesla Model 3 LR with the Acceleration Boost update. I caught him pretty early on and got out of the ...

He ran 12.433 @ 113.01 with a 1.85 60ft. I ran an 11.877 @ 116.10 with a 1.70 60ft leaving off the foot brake. A naturally aspirated 11 second car from the factory! Who else but Dodge would give you that.
😎🔥
I thought this would have been closer. Were you on the stock Nexen's?
I had on my 17" wheel setup with Hoosiers.
Another one bites the dust!
You spelled Cumaro wrong
Left him in the dust😅😅
Well, a lot later than I expected to get a 1320, but as of 4 days ago (July 2023), I finally pulled it off! WOOHOO! It's a "Last Call" edition in TorRed. What a beast! Less than 100 miles on it so far and I am SO impressed! Gonna be a fun Summer!
coudnt even hear that ss
Sweet
that 1320 deserves an atta boy !!!
And people still talk about their stock Mustangs beating scats while they run mid 12s
I like surprising people, I was at a race at MIR in October and was running between 11.49 and 11.53 @ +118mph and kept getting asked what mods I've done to it. Still not even tuned lol Like they said, beware of the angry bee...
@@kkellywv haha that’s awesome.
Think that’s me racing you in my Tesla
I think I've yet to see anybody film the time clock perfectly
Considering it was filmed by my older mother, I think she did well enough.
@@kkellywv I'm just saying every video I see from anyone...the time clocks are always blurred
love the tire and wheel package , can I get the specs and supplier info please ?
They're Race Stars Bronze series wheels, 17" diameter. Got them off of Team Beefcake racing, M&H skinnies up front and now Hoosier radials out back. Had the M&H radials out back in this video.
Can’t make out the times clearly. Looks like 11.87 and 12.40 is that correct?
Yup.
Dodge has been kicking chevys Ass since the60"s When r u going to learn hello
Nice almost identical to mine, I hope to see you at keystone this summer.
Get it done !!! That mother will move out
Beast!
Very nice! Did you hear anymore "gossip" pertaining to the track being bought and turned into an auto auction? Every time I raced there I'd ask officials, even the lady handing out the time slips and nobody could confirm or deny the rumor.
The overall vibe I got was that they weren't really confident it was going to stick around. MSHS already said they've officially dropped it from their season because they couldn't get a commitment on it, so the 2020 event was the last MSHS Atco event. Honestly that's why I decided to pull the trigger after MIR's event and go to Atco too.
@@kkellywv Doesn't sound promising. I've been racing there since 1977 and with it being the closest track to me the thought of driving 70-75 miles one way to race at Cecil or Maplegrove is depressing.
@@stevesmith6236 That's a shame. Years ago we had a track about 30min away from home but it's long gone. Closest for me now is Keystone which is about 1 hr 45min away, my poor truck and trailer see some miles during the season lol
Nice mine ran 11.48 @ 188.2 ar Rockingham. Better air than up there, I lived and race up there till I was40. Love keystone!
Solid! I'm heading to the MSHS race down at MIR later this month, hoping to set a new PB down there. Yeah, Keystone is such a good little track.
118.2 , hope to get some good runs when it cools off
@@joeweimer683 do you know if the 1320 holds its value pretty well id imagine so since they are so rare but i would love to get one just dont want to take a big equity hit either way ill prob get it such a bad ass unique and rare car

I wonder what the real horsepower rating is for a 1320. They seem to be making more than a regular Scat Pack.
Yeah, they seem to consistently pull a few more MPH than a normal Scat Pack. Mine has topped 118mph a few times in not that great of DA.
Same horsepower. The 1320 has drag racing springs and has seat deletes
@@danieljohn4603 plus torque converter with a higher stall and torque multiplication than the normal Scat Packs, a bit more aggressive transmission programming while in Drag mode, and stronger half shafts (not that those make it go any quicker.) I still think there might be a bit more than the advertised 485hp going on, my friend runs a normal Scat Pack with only maybe a 50lb body weight difference between me and him plus he runs with his pass seat installed. His car has a tune and even higher stall aftermarket converter and our E.T.s are neck and neck but I consistently pull a couple more MPH than him.
They run about the same mph in the 1/4
@@danieljohn4603and it weighs lighter tho
10 speed killer
Those 1320 scats are no joke
1320 with a shaker hood ?
Yup. The factory wasn't willing to build it with a Shaker so we ordered the Shaker kit through Mopar when we ordered the car and had the dealer install it when they showed up.
Good run, horrible reaction time
That's because I was building up the transbrake rpm as high as I could get it without exceeding the range.
@@kkellywv Ah, ok :)
Reaction time has no impact on 1320 time so what does it matter. And as I figured, and as confirmed, he was waiting on the trans brake.
17" wheels on the front too??
Yup.
@@kkellywv stock brakes? I was planning on doing this to my r/t ... just didn't know if the 17's would clear the front brakes...
@@4TwentyVisioN Yep, stock brakes. If you have the big 6 piston brembos they won't clear but the smaller Brembos like what I have will clear.
@@kkellywv I don't even have brembos , mines just the 5.7 . But it has the (HD brake package ) cause it has super track pack... So I wasn't sure. Thanks man ! I'm sure those 17s made a huge difference
@@4TwentyVisioN No doubt! It's amazing the weight difference between the stock wheels and a skinny front runner... plus the skinnies up front look soooooooo good lol

Nice run kaleb
Did you ever run the car bone stock? I hear and read the stock 1320 drag radials are not very good.
Yes, bone stock it's first passes were in the 11.90s in not very good density altitude. The factory radials hook alot better than a street tire but there are much better radials out there.
No complaint with my stock drag radial in my 1320 I been doing 1.70 at 60 ft, and I ran 11.9 with the factory tires. May they are not the best, but it works.
I ran a 1.67 on a stock nexan
Pretty damn respectable, good job! Sounds a bit louder than stock...... Mods?
Only mods aside from the wheels and tires is a mid muffler delete and 180 thermostat.
Love any 1320 Challenger info as I'm currently making plans to pick one up next year. Great performance for the price. Keep any info coming!
They've done 11.3 with wheels tires and seat delete. My dad absolutely loves his destroyer grey 1320, and so do I.

Truth!
Question for you: Are you using transbrake and what RPM are you launching at? I would appreciate any advice. TY
That was just footbrake. Just brought it off idle and against the converter, probably 1500rpm-2000rpm.
Does the cameraman have Parkinsons?
Dolan Dank one of the first times my mom used that camera
Dolan Dank you're a douche
I've been looking for someone with some experience with a motor similar to yours and want to know what the possibility of driving something like this on the street would be? Not a daily driver by any means but weekend warrior, Car shows, some drag racing etc. I was thinking of throwing in a smaller cam but have had many different opinions. whats your experience? This is what I have: 66 Satellite Stoke Swing 440 .030 over 10.5:1 Indy 440-1 Heads Indy 440-3 Intake Comp Solid Roller: .278/.281 Dur @.050 .681/.660 Lift F.A.S.T Fuel Injection (Sportsman) 9 1/2" converter 4200-4500 Stall 4.10's 30" tire Mini tubed Gear Vendors OD
That's a very similar build to what I run. I run a different engine now than what was in the car for this video. Threw the rods out the side, I guess 7200 rpm on a 500inch 440 after a couple years was too much lol Currently running a similar build but based on a 400 short deck 500 inch stroker and it's much happier with the higher rpms. With that said, that's not to say that your similar 440 wouldn't hold up, especially considering it won't be raced over 7000k rpm every Saturday. With your combo, you'll probably be fine running 93 octane pump gas if your EFI tune is spot on. My only real suggestion is if you'll be running the Indy -1 heads and Indy rockers, keep an eye on the valve lash and the adjustment screws/balls. I set valve lash every month as a precaution, have had rocker adjustment screws go bad and trash a set of rockers before.

Seems about a right time for a stock fox. Ive had a few foxbodys from 1987-1990, notch and hatches, from stock to everything modded... Fun cars indeed!
i own both of these vehicles and that F350 was extremely slow. my stockish truck runs a 13
My Fox is also extremely slow lol It has some little stuff done to it now and has ran a 14.6. Will probably do the motor this Winter and get it deep in the 12's.
Chuck McCracken yeah, i would believe 13 in the 1/8mile, but this is 1/4 mile vid...
lol same thing I was thinking, never heard of a stock diesel ford truck running 13s, laff
Your 7.3 does not run 13s stock
If your stockish truck is a 6.4 powerstroke with some bolt ons and a tune then maybe. A 7.3 or 6.0 will not hit 13s without some considerable modifications.
100% stock '93 with 120k miles. Factory 3.27 gears, factory AOD on factory size street tires.
