Great video… I have my own small maker space, and have been looking to add a printer like the BN20… one just popped up on my local market place for 1500 bucks, I might jump on it. Perfect for the hobby type guys !!

I had a smaller one at the old shop. Came all broken, so I had to get a replacement. Unfortunately I didn't get to use it a ton before we shut down, but it seemed to work well. You might want to check out the new 24" Mutoh printer instead of the new BN2-20. It's faster and does a wider roll of media and costs basically the same price. I'm thinking about getting one and putting it on the garage. Thanks for posting Ken. Always a good day when Da Print House does a video.

Thanks for this video, can I ask tho, why you don't want a mimaki? I was considering some time ago either the BN20A or the 75cm mimaki before, although now with BN2 out the BN-20A is so much cheaper that it is not actually comparable with the mimaki I was also thinking about. I didn't got any of them but now I'm looking again for a machine.

So I got it on sale for like 3300… I run a pretty good embroidery business … can this be a stepping stone for me ? Make some small 2x2 3x3 etc stickers and get all my customers and then from there move onto the bigger printers … I’ll be using the onboard cutter starting out … I understand it’s slow and won’t be a commercial speed equipment … it just means long nights right ? Until I have the business ?

Hiya! My new boss recently bought this exact printer and cutter. And I have a question, hoping you can help me out 😉 It's with regards to using liquid lamination on the HP's vinyl prints: Our current/other printer is a Solvent based one (Roland), and we always laminate the vinyl prints (which will be used outdoors, for vehicle decals or signage) with a Clearshield Liquid lamination. (We mainly use the Poliprint vinyl brand) So now, we've tried applying this liquid lamination to vinyl prints with the HP, and realised, to our horror, that the lamination comes off the printed parts, when we use transfer paper or transfer tape when applying the vinyl. Do you have any expert advice on which type of lamination to use, when printing with the HP? It'll be highly appreciated 👍🏼 Any other tips as well. Thanks in advance 😊

I have a pretty busy sticker shop where I print and cut sticker sheets from removable matte paper. I have 8 cameo 4 machines. I am now looking at one of these. No idea where to start lol. Don't know where to buy rolls of similar paper. Program, etc.
