Thanks for feed back! I will have to keep that in mind for a future video. I run a small sound board beside drums which is where click channels are plugged in. Then we output that to front of house where it feeds to our ears. Band uses Allen and heath ME1 for in ear monitors. Singers use a wireless pack!

Whats the pattern you used doing that high hats at the verse of the song?
Hey thanks for your question. It’s hard to explain in words LOL.. but I start with a base 16th note pattern and apply accents and 32nd doubles.I have a general flow with the patterns and how I want it to sound but don’t stress every single accent. Just make the flow feel organic. You should be able to hear the general pattern in the bigger accents. Hope that helps. Sorry I don’t have the specific notation.

Question: have your ever flipped any of your TOMS & heads over and flipped the badge so the badge shows properly when playing?….. The badges on my set are on the inside (not showing) when it’s mounted and I’d like badges to show. Unsure whether Toms are directional (are they built with one side engineered as the batter side?…. )
Hey mike, I’m thinking If the bearing edges are cut the same on both sides, it probably won’t matter which side is batter side.
@@palmettostreetdrums my thoughts as well. I ended up flipping it over. The breather hole is the only way you can tell it’s upside down.
