Thank you for the kind words! I'm not sure if this helps, but I only learn by trying to copy / transcribe the songs I love. Other than that I actively seek out and listen to songs; record myself and compare to the originals to see if I can get the little details / nuances right; play regularly at local jam sessions or with a band. I think as long as you enjoy the process you are golden!

Thank you for the kind words! I usually just roll down the tone volume (almost all the way), roll down treble (just a little bit) in the preamp, and sometimes bump up a bit of the low mids!
