      Hello! I use the DJI mic 2 which connects automatically with the receiver built into to the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 so you don't have to connect it with a cord. You should look into the creator combo for your needs.

      @@Cole-Bielecki Thank you for your quick reply. I have the DJI microphone with two wireless mics and a transmitter. The transmitter has to be plugged in to the USB C port. I had no idea the DJI 2 had the receiver built into the Osmo 3! I guess I will have to order one to make this work, unless you have another idea? I'm using a Mac, I do have a Camlink but it does not seem to work with the Osmo 3 even with a HDMI to USB C cable. My goal is to Livestream from the OSmo 3 using Zoom and with an external wireless mic (I have the DJI two microphones, also have the Rode Wireless Pro). I would really appreciate your assistance if I can do this without having to purchase additional equipment. Normally I have been using my Sony EZ - 10 camera for the zoom Livestream and recording the directly onto the SD card of my Sony EZ-10 camera. My Rode mic transmitter plugs into the Sony. But I moved recently and have much less space to work with so need a wide angle view. Thought I could use the OSmo 3 instead as it does capture the whole room. But I'm stymied with the microphone and recording issue. I would greatly appreciate your help!

    Sold on getting a mist filter but I’m torn between 1/4 and 1/8. Which one would you recommend?

    • @Cole-Bielecki
      @Cole-Bielecki 6 днів тому

      The best filter for you depends on the desired effect. If you want a slight haze, the 1/8 filter is a good option. However, if you want a stronger halation with lights, the 1/4 filter is a better choice. I personally prefer the 1/4 filter because it makes it easier to achieve the blooming highlights I want to capture.

    • @victor.ivanov
      @victor.ivanov 2 дні тому

      I’d say you have to be super super intentional about using mist filters, because mostly it looks like a ruined footage to me, not sure why people love them so much I’d say go for 1/8 and only if you have an exact use case for it. One of those use cases could be OP3 as a studio camera, to soften the skin a bit For outdoor shoots like in this video I certainly don’t recommend using a mist filter

    • @Cole-Bielecki

      Hello! If you are slowing it down by a percentage. You can break it down by figuring out the math. For example if you are editing on a 30fps timeline and converting 60fps, you should set it to 50% speed. and 40% for a 24fps timeline. I hope this helps!

      Thank you! If you are on a mac, you could airdrop the edited files to yourself. If you are on a PC I would recommend using WeTransfer to upload the files from your phone and send the link to your email to download the files on your PC. I hope this helps.

      Thank you! Unfortunately, I don't have a DJI 2 to test out the workflow, but I can assume it is the same or similar process. Do you have any cine lenses? if so would you say the 15-35 is comparable to them?

    • @Cole-Bielecki
      @Cole-Bielecki Місяць тому

      I own the Xeen 50mm cine, primarily used for interviews. I've paired my gimbal with Leica R lenses before, though manual focus is challenging on a gimbal. While I often use the 15-35 on my gimbal, it doesn't offer unique characteristics compared to cine lenses. It's a very clean image. However, since it is wide, it still cuts together well with other lenses in post.

    • @noranoskyle4417
      @noranoskyle4417 Місяць тому

      @@Cole-Bielecki in post would the 15-35 look to digital when mixing with an image from a cine lens? or would the ultra wide angle be less noticable. Because cines usually give a soft look. usually important for up close shots

    • @Cole-Bielecki
      @Cole-Bielecki Місяць тому

      @@noranoskyle4417 I don't think the images look digital or extra sharp. I have a lot of b-roll in this video you can check out. I would still shoot in the log profile, and control most of the look in post.

      @@Cole-Bielecki I am asking because the image did look great. You did a good job. I have the c70 and r5c and r6 markii. I just bought some canon cines. now moving from RF to CN-E. But my wallet needs to make some compromises lol

    • @Cole-Bielecki
      @Cole-Bielecki Місяць тому

      @@noranoskyle4417 Thank you! That is a nice collection you have going for you. Unfortunately, a bigger price tag comes with cine...I personally think this lens serves it's purpose being so wide and having autofocus on a gimbal is great, especially if you are filming alone. You can look into the Sigma 18-35 Cine if you want a similar focal length. I rented it for a project once, and was happy with the look. I recently have been getting into Canon FD lenses. They have unique characteristics, beautiful flares and adapt easy to the C70.

    When I use the camera to make a walking video, it records for 20 minutes or 25 minutes, it does not record more than that, but when I record continuously, the video becomes buggy. I can never record 40 minutes at a time

      That's interesting. I haven't heard of time limit on recording. You should try a faster SD card. You are probably running into a buffer issue.
